Adeel Hussain is an actor who talks with his work rather than his words. He shared that the dramas are in a limit that he is okay with but there is content being produced in our films that he does not agree with thus he has not been keen on doing films over dramas.

Right now his long awaited film The Legend of Maula Jatt is happening. He is open to do more projects if it fall within the boundaries he has set.

Though Pakistani cinema crashed and burned but before that it was a huge industry with plenty of big stars, great movies that were copied by Bollywood and characters that are evergreen. Maula Jatt and Noori Natt are such characters played by Sultan Rahi and Mustafa Qureshi respectively. They were both vicious and had no mercy in their own right. Bilal Lashari is all set to bring back the Maula an the Noori back on our screens as his film The Legend of Maula Jatt is releasing on 13th October 2022 after a very long wait and this time the roles are essayed by Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi respectively. Fans of the original thus have a criticism that both the actors are too “burger” to play such vicious characters. Moreover, Fawad Khan cannot even speak Punjabi.

When asked about this criticism, director Bilal Lashari gave the answer in a recent interview. He said that one may call them “Burger Boys” but they are the stars of today and people want to watch them. He also added that people will be surprised to watch them by the way both the stars have transformed themselves and got under the skin of their characters.

Main Shahrukh Khan Hoon is an Iris Inc’s short film, Iris Inc is a new YouTube platform which will be releasing new and unique short films for the viewers. The short film Main Shahrukh Khan Hoon features talented Pakistani actor & Singer Mohsin Abbas Haider in the lead role. The short film has been directed by Cheekh famed director Badar Mehmood. It has been produced by Shakil Hussain Khan & Adnnan Soddha. The short film has been written by Hamza Ibne Wasi.

The short film is about an aspiring actor who loves Shahrukh Khan and copies him all the time, the character lost his identity in the love of Shahrukh Khan. The actor ended up being an extra performer who used to do short characters in which he used to copy Shahrukh Khan. The movie starts with the dialogue when actor is doing mimicry of Shahrukh Khan, he, then gets schooled by his conscience on losing his identity for the sake of following his passion and his idol.

The movie only stars Mohsin Abbas Haider as five different characters which include lawyer, policeman & actor. In the end, the aspiring actor successfully regained his own identity by refusing being Shahrukh Khan for a short role as an extra actor. Here is the short film !

Mere Humnasheen is a Geo Television network’s popular drama which had a huge cast and a unique storyline. The cast included Meher Bano, Hiba Bukhari, Shahzad Sheikh, Syed Jibran, Haris Waheed, Normal Khalid and Ahsan Khan. The drama drama has been directed by Ali Faizan and it has been written by Misbah Ali Syed. The storyline featured Pakhtoon culture. Well, the drama got popular because of Ahsan Khan’s epic acting and accent, however, in start the drama got flak on the fake Pashto accent.

Today, the last episode of the drama aired on Geo Television. The episode was loved by the fans because finally Khajista and Hadi met in the drama, fans found the ending of the drama as satisfying after the death of Darakhzai. However, a few fans still believed that Darakhzai should have been alive. They were of the view that the drama is incomplete without Darakhzai. Few fane were sad on the ending of the drama because they wanted Khajista and Darakhzai together. A few fans said that they wanted at least one more episode of Hadi and Khajista.

They loved the drama but many viewers also said that the story of the drama became boring in the end. They were happy for Hadi and Khajista but they were sad for Darakhzai who really loved Khajista and died. They were sad for Aima too, who loved Hadi but could not get her love. Tamasha is an Ary Digital reality show which had been successfully aired on Ary Digital, since last 43 days, the show started with 14 contestants and it was based on Big Brother/Big Boss format. The release of Maula Jatt is just around the corner and we will get to watch Fawad Khan back in Pakistani cinemas in a full-fledged role after 15 years. Fawad Khan impressed everyone in Khuda Ke Liye and then worked on television. He went to Bollywood from there and after his return we have been missing him from everywhere. Fawad Khan is the new Maula Jatt, an iconic character previously played by Sultan Rahi and the film is in Punjabi language as it is set in Punjab.

Fawad Khan is a resident of Lahore where he got his education and naturally everyone assumed that he is a Punjabi speaker hailing from the heart of Punjab. But Fawad revealed that he was born in Karachi and then they moved around abroad due to his father’s work and later settled in Lahore. But the actor cannot really speak Punjabi as it was not spoken in his house.

He added that it was the film’s writer Nasir Adeeb who helped him with the correct pronunciations and applying the correct expression to the dialogues. And opposite Fawad was Hamza wo is completely fluent in the language. Fawad had to work a lot on getting the language right too. He said that he has not seen the original Maula Jatt completely as it was difficult for him to understand.

As we all know the star studded and most anticipated Pakistani movie The Legend of Maula Jatt’s release is just around the corner after the longest halt. Well, the movie will finally be releasing on 13th of October 2022. The star actors of the film are all geared up for the promotional sessions.

The first fun interview of Fawad Afzal Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi is here in which they are indulged in very hilarious banters. The interviewer asked from both, “do you guys hold grudges in real like Noori Nath & Maula Jatt hold in film?”. To the question, they both said No but ended up interrupting each others during questions and answers.

Hamza Ali Abbasi was too hilarious with his interrupting answers and Fawad’s epic expressions and replies made his answers even more funny. Pandemic slowed down all the industries of the world and cinemas were the worst hit industry. Pakistani films which were just getting up got the worst of hit and the film industry was shut again. five films came out last Eid ul Fitr and their performance was not great on the box office but two big films Quaid e Azam Zindabad and London Nahi Jaunga did great and the film industry is back. Now we have many new films ready for release with The Legend of Maula Jatt hiting the cinemas 1n less than two weeks. It will mark the comeback of Fawad Khan whose two other films Neelofar and Money Back Guarantee are also ready to be out.

Money Back Guarantee is directed by Faisal Qureshi with a huge cast including Fawad Khan, Wasim Akram, Mikaal Zulfiqar and Mani among others. The films first two teasers are out and they have definitely raised expectations.

Pakistani dramas are where the stardom has been for the country as our film industry was a disaster for many years. But with the gradual revival we are seeing films getting successful now. Stars from our television majorly shifted to films and some of them are now exclusively doing films. Fahad Mustafa in particular is only doing films while other film stars like Humayun Saeed, Mahira Khan and Mehwish Hayat have done projects for the small screen.

Fahad has given great dramas like Tair e Lahooti, Main Abdul Qadir Hoon and Kankar in his career and now he is giving hit films like Na Maloom Afraad, Actor In Law, Load Wedding and Quaid e Azam Zindabad. Though fans see him on Jeeto Pakistan every week, they still miss him in dramas and Fahad has not signed on for anything on television since he started acting in films.

Fahad was on Mashion where he was asked about coming back on television and what are his plans. He said that now he has joined films and he would like his fans to come to cinemas to watch him. Humaima Malick is considered among the biggest stars of Pakistan. She achieved success both in films and dramas. She was a success with Ishq Junoon Deewangi and later on her film debut as Zainab in Bol. Humaima went and also worked in Bollywood and she was also a newsmaker there. Humaima has been missing in action since some time. We saw her in a short film by See Prime recently but her major comeback is in The Legend of Maula Jatt as Daro Natt.
