Sarah Khan and Noor Zafar Khan are star sisters. They have both been working in dramas for many years now and they were both able to establish themselves as big names in dramas. Fans love to watch them and they have been each other’s support system throughout their careers and personal lives. Recently Sarah was embroiled in a controversy and now sister Noor is coming forward to defend her.
Sarah Khan gave an interview where she said that she is not a feminist. She likes to be at home and she cannot stand in lines to pay bills. Her husband can do that. This is what Sarah Khan said:
Reham Khan did not like Sarah Khan’s statement and hit back at her in an interview with FHM Pakistan. She said that she has seen the lady who is Falak Shabir’s wife and she has given a statement about feminism. She added that Sarah should remember that feminists like Reham are the reason that she gets to work in dramas nowadays.
This is what Reham Khan said:
Noor Zafar Khan has now come forward to defend sister Sarah Khan. Noor said that Reham Khan dragged Sarah’s daughter into her statement and attacked a child. Sarah had not harmed anyone and she had just given her opinion Feminism is not about putting down anyone and all women should respect ecah other’s opinions. She called Reham Khan’s statement an attack on the most innocent aka Alyana and wants her to uplift all women. This is what Noor wanted to say:
The internet is divided after this debate. One user said, “Sarah also had the right to her opinion. Reham is insecure of Falak’s wife.” Another added, “Noor is getting this wrong. Reham did not drag Sarah’s daughter. She just asked you sisters to get educated.” One said, “I hate Reham Khan but she is right here.” This is what went down:
Sarwat Gilani is an actress and activist whom we see speaking about important issues all the time. She is very selective with her work and does not sign on many projects. She has been doing only films and webseries for the past 7 years and she will be making her comeback on television pretty soon with a drama on ARY Digital. She was a guest on Nukta Pakistan and spoke about some important topics.
Nadia Khan is a host and actress who has recently been very vocal after the whole India-Pakistan stand off. She was calling out Fawad Khan, Hania Aamir, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam for not speaking out loudly against India. She has constantly called out all the stars who have worked in India and she was pretty harsh about it.
Sarwat Gilani called out Nadia Khan. She said that putting your own stars down is not the right thing. She saw Nadia Khan screaming on television on her colleagues which did not look right. Screaming on them like they are your staff is inappropriate. Sitting in an AC room and calling out others is easy. Was she on the streets against aggression like Sarwat and many other people were. She added that yes, you can ask those stars to post for Pakistan but in a dignified manner. You should not look like a woman from a mohalla who only likes fights.

It was filled with emotions, romance, suspense, and last but not least Asma’s betrayal and Wajid’s toxicity. The cinematography hit another level!” Another said, “The drama that gave us every bit of enjoyment is Mann Mast Malang. We will miss this drama a lot, and Kabir Khan will remain one of the best and top characters, played by King Danish Taimoor”. A fan praised Uzma Hassan, saying, “The way Asma killed Wajid gave me goosebumps. Fabulous performance by Uzma Hassan”. A fan complained, “It wasn’t necessary for Sikandar to die from a bullet on his wedding day. He could have been injured instead. Mubeen could have saved him. If they had added a little twist and both joined hands to catch Wajid, it would have been better. Some positivity could have been added here. And both sisters, Wafa and Minha, should have not been shown with a happy ending.” A fan stated, “I felt bad for Asma and Sikandar. Mahbina didn’t get any punishment. She was filled with arrogance and pride. Because of her, Riya’s entire family was destroyed. So sad for Sikandar—he was innocent.” Read the comments:

Mahira Khan is a humble Pakistani television and film star who is currently garnering praise for her hit film Love Guru. The movie has so far collected more 70 Crore rupees and it is still successfully running in the cinema. Previously, fans recently praised Mahira Khan in Razia, Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay, Aik Hai Nigar and Quaid e Azam Zindabad.
Recently, Mahira Khan has given an interview to Independent Urdu in which she discussed the success of Love Guru. She also talked about upcoming projects, age shaming and getting banned in India.
Talking about Love Guru success, Mahira Khan said, “What happens is, whenever a film is released, it either becomes a hit or a flop. I am very thankful to Allah that Love Guru became successful, because it was necessary for all of us — we needed this. After the success of any project, you move forward, because you suddenly realize that there are multiple other projects to do. One gets busy with the next project. And this happens to all actors. I will also do the same, and I’m currently reading two scripts. Let’s see which one I go for.”
She further said, “I learned a lot from Nadeem Baig. He guided me throughout the movie, also, I understood Sophia so well, so, it was easy for me to perform. She further said that Neelofar is the upcoming project but she doesn’t the release timings. She said that their team created Neelofar with so much love and hard work.” Talking about Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo, she said, “My character in Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo, is very much opposite to it”
Mahira Khan further addressed the age shaming she faced during Love Guru, she said, “My mother told me that there was a man talking against me and that she felt bad watching that clip, and said, ‘why don’t you hide your age?’ to which I replied, ‘I don’t because that’s me, I told when I got married, when I became mother, when I got divorced and what age I am. This doesn’t bother me and I welcome all sorts of opinions.”
Dr. Omer Adil is a renowned and successful Pakistani Orthopedic Surgeon, lecturer, public speaker and film critic. He holds MBBS and FRCS degrees. He is doing practice in Lahore. Dr. Omar Adil is also a lecturer at Fatima Jinnah Medical university Lahore. He got recognition through his famous PTV appearances as a film critic and analyst. He has a deep knowledge of national and international media. He recently is getting popularity for his unfiltered opinions on his YouTube shows.
In his YouTube show Loud Speaker, Dr Omer Adil gave a blatant reply to Atiqa Odho for her bold remarks and rants on celebrities, people and society. He specifically addressed her recent two controversial statements.
Talking about it, Dr. Omer Adil said, “Atiqa Odho is a veteran actor who is currently getting popularity for her critical remarks, often made on q talk show that is designed to target and criticize others. Recently, she body-shamed an actor and commented on several other sensitive issues”.
He further added, “Previously, she made a controversial statement about what couples do on their wedding night in arranged marriages. I would like to say—they do the same thing you did on your own wedding nights, three times in your life. She also criticized actor Ali Raza’s hairy chest, saying it disgusted her. People don’t seem to mind such remarks when they come from a woman, but if a man were to say the same thing to an overweight woman, suggesting she go for liposuction, he would be hated to the core. Body shaming is equally harmful for both men and women. If a woman can be hurt by such remarks, so can a man—mocking someone for a hairy chest is no different. Shaming comes in many forms, whether it’s about body, caste, creed, or ethnicity. For instance, Pakistanis were once called “Pakis”—a deeply offensive and derogatory term.” Here is the link to the video:
Mehar Bano is an actress, writer and dancer. She is multi-talented and super confident in her skin. She has worked in some good dramas and she has been linked to some very artistic projects of Pakistan including Sarmad Khoosat and Saba Qamar’s Kamli. Mehar Bano answered a public question and openly spoke about the dark side of the industry. She shared that all fields have a dark side and showbiz has a huge one too. There are young boys and girls who face harassment on set. She added that there are pressures which actors face for work from people in power. Mehar Bano said that showbiz is an industry with beautiful faces and magnetic personalities thus the dark side is also very much there and people get targeted.
Mehar Bano also revealed that many actors in the industry suffer from body odour. Many A listers have unpleasant body odour and one has to endure it on set. Recently, she was working on a set and she along with Affan Waheed were affected by a fellow actor’s lack of deodorant but could not do anything about it. She never really tells anyone when they smell bad and endures it professionally.
Behroze Sabzwari is a veteran actor of Pakistan and he has been working in the industry for over four decades now. He has worked in countless dramas and his whole family is now a part of showbiz. His son Shahroz also followed in his footsteps while his daughter-in-law Sadaf Kanwal is a model and actress.
Behroze Sabzwari was a guest on Ramz by Gohar Rasheed and spoke about the Islamic view of men having an upper hand on women and men’s rights. He said it is said in the Holy Quran that men are superior to women but what it means is they have a different responsibility. He added that men and women actually have equal rights. Society has wrongfully programmed men into having the right to violence which does not actually exist.
This is what he said:
Behroze Sabzwari also shared the point when men are finally relaxed and do not have to carry big responsibilities. He said that his son Shahroz has grown up to become a very responsible man. When your children start caring for you, a man can finally relax. He always tried to do all he can for his parents and now he is grateful that his son Shahroz Sabzwari is doing the same thing for him.
Parwarish is a drama airing on ARY Digital. Amongst scripts about a girl and boy falling in love, problems of in-laws and love triangles, this drama was a breath of fresh air. The show is basically about parenting and the challenges our younger generation is facing in their lives and careers.
Parwarish has shown problems of different strata of society. Parents, daughters, sons and even grandparents have been given proper representation in the show. This has been a great effort by Fahad Mustafa’s Big Bang Productions, as the show’s concept came directly from the main man himself. Here are 10 things that Parwarish is getting right, and it was high time we showed this on our television screens:
Abroad Woes
Parwarish, at its core, is a story about a family that returns to Pakistan from abroad. The starting scenes of the show, with Wali having a superiority complex, made us all remember someone close to us who has behaved like that. With this plot, Parwarish spoke about the identity crises that many Pakistanis face when they move back home after living abroad a few years. Life is different, customs are different, and in many instances, people are not ready to give you space. Parwarish also showed how positively JB’s family reacted and helped him and his children settle.
Toxic Control Of Parents
Parenting and specifically Pakistani parenting, is beautifully represented in Parwarish. South Asia has a beautiful culture of obedience and respect. Parents take care of their children, giving them their all. Children then grow up and repeat the cycle and take care of their parents till the end. However, toxicity disguised as obedience sometimes takes over this relationship. Parents start thinking that their child owes them and start controlling every aspect and decision of their lives. Wali’s father wants to control his life. Maya’s father wants to make the biggest decision of her life for her. And even grandmother would not allow a roti-maker in the house as it defies her control over the kitchen.
Eldest Daughter Pressure
The eldest daughter in a desi household can easily be compared to a hot pressure cooker. She has the weight of the entire family’s respect and honour; she has to be the best student, the best sister, the best wife and the best daughter-in-law. Amal has been the perfect representation of the eldest daughters of our society. She will take care of everybody till she breaks down. Similarly, Maya is also carrying the weight of her father’s cruelty and wants to save her younger sister from the same fate.
Realistic Siblings Bond
After decades of sibling rivalry, Parwarish has brought back a real sibling bond. Anya and Wali, for example, are each other’s support systems. Wali is always there for Anya while he is going through the biggest transitions of his life. Sameer and Amal are also ideal siblings. The way Sameer is taking care of Amal’s feelings and understanding he is what we need to show more of on our screens rather than honour-killing laddened, toxic brothers. Even JB and Suleman, despite all their differences, always support each other.
Mental Health Issues
Parwarish is also talking about the mental health challenges of the new generation. Amal was shown having a complete anxiety attack. Maya’s mother’s reaction to narcissistic abuse was also real. Anya is also shown considering self-harm, which many youngsters do. Mental health issues are shown as real problems and not like props to move the story forward.
Society’s Reaction To A Girl Child
Maya’s father is simply a reflection of our society. His daughter is studious and obedient but he only cares to marry her off. He is shown as a father of two daughters. He has no male child and he feels his family will not be secure after him. He was ready to bring a man like Waleed in his family just so his daughters will have a “sahara” if something happened to him. He has been conditioned by society that his daughters will not be able to care for themselves if he is not there.
Non-acceptance For Different Professions
Wali loves music. This is a plot point that has been expressed since the very start. Music is what is going to finally get him out of his current quagmire. His father, on the other hand, got him a seat in a medical college through shady means. Only a doctor, an engineer or a lawyer is acceptable in Pakistan, and all other professions are looked down upon. This is another topic Parwarish is shedding light on.
Love At A Younger Age
Parwarish showed infatuation in youth. Amal likes Wali, but she did not get toxic about it. Maya and Wali also like each other, and they want to see a future together. If not for Maya’s father, they would not have tried to get married. The love and infatuation are treated like they exist in reality. There is heartbreak, there is love but not too dramatic.
Importance Of A Parents’ Reaction
A parent’s reaction can make or break their child. Children go through a lot of challenges and transitions in their lives. A parent’s job is to be the adult and not overreact or break their child’s confidence. Unfortunately, in Pakistan, we generally see the second condition. Parents are always angry, they never listen to their child’s point of view. JB and Shaheer are two fathers who represent such parents. JB made Wali leave his house while Shaheer made Maya miserable and insecure. On the other hand, we have Suleman and Panna, two parents who always listen to their kids and give them time to process stuff on their own. Consequently, their children are way more sorted in life.
Gen Z Lingo
Parwarish is very Gen Z coded. This is why many youngsters are watching it. Yes, there are some over-the-top disasters like “Woh Sigma Sigma Sa Hai”, but mostly the language used by all characters is relevant, fresh, and what we see nowadays.

Dastak is a drama with many important lessons. It showcases the story of a divorced single mother and how she fights society to find happiness again. It is not a run off the mill story with sensationalism. It shows many realities regarding divorced women, child custody and dead beat fathers. The realism of the show is what has attracted the audience to it.
Marina Khan is the director of this drama while Sarwat Nazir is the writer. The show had a great pace and people were loving how it was able to entertain while still giving important messages. The drama is now in a dragging phase which fans are hating on. The director of dastak Marina Khan appeared on ARY Digital’s Buzz alongside Feroz Kadri and she spoke about this unnecessary dragging.
Marina Khan blamed the writer Sarwat Nazir for this drag. She said that the written episodes are never more than 26. They are then elongated, things are added on and she knew it will reach 39-40 episodes. What happens is generally the drama goes on and big climaxes fade away. There are no high points in the show and there is more repetition. This happened to Dastak as well. She added that she does not know where the script became lengthy, in Sarwat’s hands or after it.
Nida Yasir has just confirmed something people saw was only a scene from the drama. Jannat Se Aagay was a critically acclaimed drama. Starring Kubra Khan and Ramsha Khan, the drama focused on the difficulties of a woman who works hard to achieve success as a morning show host. How her success changes her life and how her apparently luxurious life affected minds of others was showcased in the show.
There was a scene in Jannat Se Aagay when Jannat realizes that her maid and assistant is actually stealing from her house. She goes to her house and recovers so many of her items. Looks like the scene was inspired from real life and this actually happened to none other than Nida Yasir.
Nida Yasir revealed that she hired a Filipino maid when her son Balaj was young as she was also doing live shows after her delivery. The maid started stealing things from her house. She realized what was happening and reached her place. She recovered three suitcases filled with stuff from her house. That is how she recovered everything. This same scene was shown to happen to Jannat in Jannat Se Aagay.
Here is Nida Yasir revealing her Jannat se Aagay-esque story:
Hania Aamir made her Indian Punjabi film debut opposite Diljit Dosanjh in Sardaar Ji 3. She met Diljit at his concert in London and speculations were strong that she might star with him. Things went sour after India and Pakistan stand-off and all the projects starring Pakistani stars were shelved. Diljit Dosanjh pulled a surprise as he decided to release the film internationally and not in India.
There have been threats and backlash on Diljit Dosanjh but he stood his ground and did not cut Hania Aamir from the film. The film is out now and the actress has been able to score the biggest opening ever for any Indian Punjabi film in Pakistan. The film scored over 3 crores on Day 1 and this has made Hania Aamir happy.
Hania Aamir too to her Instagram account and thanked her Pakistani fans. She thanked her fans and said “I Love You Pakistan” as she shared how her film has broken the opening day records of Pakistani box office.
Hania Aamir has arrived in Pakistani cinemas with her first international project and she has shattered records. One user said, “Is the collection okay or do we watch it once more.” Another added, “This is for my homegirl Hania.” One said, “Punjabis did it.” This is what people said:
The Swat drowning incident has shaken the entire Pakistani nation with grief. Fans are still in shock over what happened yesterday to a family of 14. Heart-wrenching videos continue to circulate on the internet, and Pakistanis are mourning deeply.
Muhammad Hilal emerged as a national hero amidst this crisis who single-handedly rescued seven people, gave an interview to Neo News. In his interview he narrated how he saved lives.
Talking about it, he said, “I am Muhammad Hilal from Swat. I have been doing rescue work for the past thirty-five years for the sake of Allah’s pleasure. I am a fisherman, and we’ve been rescuing people for years. We are eight brothers, and we do this work for our inner satisfaction.”
He further added that they have rescued many people and saved thousands of lives. He said, “I found out about the incident at 8:30 — it was already too late, but we still managed to save seven people. Unfortunately, due to traffic, we couldn’t reach the unfortunate family in time. I can’t describe the scene; I am still in shock over what happened. We are heartbroken and ashamed. I arrived at the end and rescued four people who were barely holding on. We found out late, but still managed to save seven lives. People were just standing there and filming. If they had made an effort, they might have been able to save others too.” Here is the link to the video:
Fans are praising his kindness and bravery, and saluting him for his efforts. A social media user wrote, “He should be provided with the best tools and equipment so that it becomes easier for him and other locals to manage disasters.” Another stated, “The Government of Pakistan and KPK should announce a generous reward for him as a token of appreciation.” Someone else commented, “Such precious souls are born once in ages — we salute his parents.” Another wrote, “We salute your greatness. Allah has chosen you to serve humanity. You have done so much for us.” A fan added, “The one who saves a life saves all of humanity. We deeply respect you.” Read more of the heartfelt comments below:
Imran Abbas is a renowned Pakistani television and film actor with a strong following on Instagram and other social media platforms. He currently has 8.9 million followers on Instagram. Imran is known for being a vocal celebrity who often speaks out when necessary. He also holds strong religious sentiments and believes in respecting all the holy months and religious festivals.
Recently, the actor has once again raised his voice against the film distributors and entertainment industry’s insensitive attitude towards the holy month of Muharram, which he believes should be observed with utmost respect.
Imran Abbas expressed his displeasure over movies being released during Muharram. Notably, Hania Aamir’s film Sardaar Ji and Mission Impossible were released in cinemas around this time. Sardaar Ji was released on the 1st or 2nd of Muharram. Besides this, films like Love Guru and Deemak are also currently running in cinemas.
Imran Abbas shared his concerns on his official Facebook account. He wrote, “I have never seen movies being released on the 1st of Muharram before in Pakistan. This is not about Shia or Sunni — certain dates and months carry significance for all Muslims. I still remember when PTV used to run music-free transmissions during these times. Now, we witness dance and music shows even on the 9th of Muharram. People treat these days as holidays to travel to hill stations with family and friends. The day is not far when we may start celebrating the Islamic New Year with parties on the 1st of Muharram. I urge everyone to respect the sanctity of Rabi-ul-Awal, Ramadan, and Muharram, and to acknowledge the significance of these months, regardless of sect or background.”
He further added that the cast of the film should not be held responsible, as they were simply fulfilling their duties as actors. However, the authorities could have delayed the release slightly. Since the film is expected to be a blockbuster, postponing its release by a few days wouldn’t have made much of a difference.
Many people are agreeing with Imran Abbas and have thanked him for raising his voice. Shaan Beig wrote, “Absolutely agree with you. As Muslims, certain months like Muharram should be treated with the dignity they deserve, no matter which sect we belong to. It’s sad to see how quickly we’re drifting away from that sense of reverence. The release could’ve easily been postponed out of basic respect. Thank you for raising this — much needed.” Another user wrote, “I feel the same way. In my childhood, our Sunni brothers would respectfully observe Muharram. We should strive to maintain that level of respect and understanding.” A social media user added, “It’s because people are becoming more liberal and forgetting about religion and its incidents. I remember back in 2010 or earlier, people wouldn’t watch dramas or movies — instead, they would listen to scholars narrating the stories of Karbala. But now, watching movies, dramas, and listening to music has become common.” Another netizen stated, “True. We are moving far away from our ethics, rituals, and values — and as a result, we are gaining nothing.” Read the comments:

Swat tragedy shocked Pakistani celebrities like the whole nation. Pakistan unfortunately has one of the worst rescue systems in the world. From hanging carts in the sky to no regulations for fire exits, we get to witness the most painful tragedies just because help can never reach the stranded people. A similar thing happened to a family whose 18 people all died in a flash flood in the Swat river.
The family was stranded in the river for several hours till they all got swept away. No help arrived, no helicopters were sent. We have seen helicopters drying cricket grounds in this country but no one came to help the tax paying citizens. The family belonged to Sialkot and several dead bodies were recovered from the river. Many Pakistani stars are also horrified by the painful Swat tragedy. Mahira Khan, Saboor Aly, Zara Noor Abbas among others all shared their thoughts on the incident.
Pakistani stars like Saboor Aly asked where those helicopters were when they were needed for the rescue. Mahira Khan and many others were heartbroken to see how the family was swept away one after the other:

Feroz Kadri is also exceptional and portrays a man who is willing to go to any lengths as his beloved wife cannot give him a child. He wants to snatch away the son he once abandoned. Ali Raza, on the other hand, is the representation of good men who are still present in the society.

Javed Sheikh is a senior Pakistani TV & film actor, director and producer. He is loved for his iconic roles in hit films and dramas and fans admire his acting skills. His notable dramas are Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Samjhota, Ankahi, Tere Mere Beech, Chaandni Raatain, Shama, Fifty Fifty, Parchahiyan, Baraat Series, Bol Meri Machli and others. His popular films are Chief Saab, Zindagi Gulzar Hai, Teefa in Trouble, and Na Maloom Afraad. He is currently garnering praise for Raaja Rani and Meri Tanhai. Fans also admired his top notch performance in hit serial Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum.
The actor recently appeared in Wickey Pedia podcast , hosted by Wickey Khan. In the podcast, he responded to Nadia Khan, Omer Adil and other hateful reviewers’ unfair criticism who try to make or break a project through their forced opinions. In the show, he also talked about the credibility of the people who tarnish big names.
To the host’s question, “Raaja Rani is facing backlash from Nadia Khan, who criticized Faysal Quraishi’s character and claimed he used makeup. What are your thoughts ?” Javed Sheikh replied, “No! He hasn’t done any makeup — I’ve worked with him. There is nothing like that. In my opinion, criticism for the sake of criticism has no standing. Respect and fame are given by Allah — if Allah wants to give them to someone, no one can take them away. Recently, a doctor in Lahore criticized Love Guru. He spewed venom against the film, Mahira Khan, and Humayun Saeed, even making ageist remarks. But what happened to his unfair criticism? The film has crossed 60 million. Later, I found out he had personal grudges against the director. Where is that doctor now? Similarly, Raaja Rani is his (Faysal’s) project — let Nadia Khan say whatever she wants. The biggest critics are the viewers. They are the ones who truly pass or fail a project. These TV reviewers who mock actors make no real difference. Ironically, the channels they appear on earn and run through content based on mocking those same actors.”
It was Sadia Imam who criticized Faysal Quraishi’s makeup & look in Raaja Rani:
Nadia Khan also criticized Faysal Quraishi for his dance and pairing with younger heroine Hina Afridi.
Sardaar Ji 3 is an Indian Punjabi movie which has been scheduled to release on 27th June 2025. The film features a stellar cast, including Diljit Dosanjh, Neeru Bajwa, Hania Aamir, Nasir Chinioti, and other popular Indian Punjabi actors. The film isn’t releasing in India due to the presence of Pakistani actors in it. Hania Aamir is playing one of the main leads in the movie. He wrote, “Bajaey India Janey Ke Yeh Larki Neeru Bajwa or Diljit Dosanjh KO Pakistan Le Ai he – Instead of going to India, this girl brought Neeru Bajwa and Diljit Dosanjh to Pakistan. Let’s Welcome the neighbours in Pakistani style.”
Urwa Hocane also supported the release in Pakistan, saying, “Sardaar Ji 3 is a win on many levels. First because our fellow actor Hania Aamir is representing us, our Pakistani film and TV industry on International platform that too for the right reasons because in the given time seeing Diljit Dosanjh Team reject an entire audience and industry that’s gone astray with fake propaganda and hate against Pakistan, puts him on the right side of the history. Kudos!’
Talking about Hania Aamir’s film, Meera jee said, “Hania Aamir and Diljit Dosanjh’s film should get love and support from the audience and they should watch it. Artists should not be dragged into politics. When my film Nazar was released, the same situation we faced, so artists should be kept away from hate”
Nadia Khan also supported Sardaar Ji 3 saying, “Hania Aamir and Diljit Dosanjh’s film is getting a release after numerous controversies regarding Hania Aamir’s removal and reshoots due to the Pakistan-India conflict. Finally, the film is being released with none other than our Pakistani actor Hania Aamir. Hats off to the makers, the actor. They all are Sikh who fear no one — and I admire their strategy. They stayed silent, didn’t respond to any speculation, and let people believe Hania had been removed. Diljit Dosanjh also remained quiet. Now, the trailer is out, and Hania is everywhere.”
Yumna Zaidi also sent love and best wishes for Hania Aamir. Hania Aamir replied to her with kind words.

Mehwish Hayat is a remarkable Pakistani television and film actress who is currently garnering praise for her hit Geo TV drama serial Dayan, which is getting high TRPs and views. Recently, Mehwish Hayat appeared in Fuchsia Magazine’s YouTube show, hosted by Rabia Mughni. In the show, Mehwish Hayat talked in detail about her popular drama serial Dayan.
Talking about Dayan, Mehwish Hayat said, “Playing Nihal was quite challenging for me because of the abusive environment Nihal was living in. It had an emotional toll on me even when I used to be back from the shooting. I remember I constantly had a sad face during Dayan’s shooting.”
Talking about how she got the drama, Mehwish said, “I met Abdullah Kadwani during the travelling when he asked me if I am interested in television or not, and I replied to him that I am waiting for a good script. He then messaged me and called me in a meeting where I met Siraj and the whole team, and when they narrated Dayan’s story, I knew I was going to do it because it was scary, it was challenging and quite interesting for me and it had so many layers to the character.”
Talking about how difficult the grave scene was, Mehwish Hayat said, “I am a very careful person. I make sure things go according to my comfort. I was the person who was reluctant to shoot in the real graveyard because various things are attached to it. We should not film out of respect, and I was the person who usually don’t visit graveyards, so we created it. But despite being shot at a fake location, it was difficult because the grave was for real, in which I was laying. That too, all the pests were there in the mud. It was scary.”
Talking about Nihal and Meesha’s get ups, Mehwish Hayat says, “The main challenge was to show Meesha different from Nihal, so we showed Nihal de-glammed, simple, and an introvert person. We were considering many things like prosthetics, but we were also aware of the limitations because we had to shoot it for months, and making a mark or adding a feature won’t be same for the 8-year. It was not practical. We consider weather conditions, production, and practicalities under mind. We took creative liberty here. I will give credit to my makeup artist. We kept Nihal raw, her face is round; we kept Meesha sculptured. There are subtle nuances that made her a bit different, and then we took creative liberty. I am very happy with Dayan. Although we tried to make it different, we knew that the backlash would come.”
She further said that according to the script they didn’t have choice for the character to be played by two different actors, it had to be one actress playing Nihal & Meesha both.
Mehwish Hayat also said that she is getting a great response from fans who are hooked to Dayan. She further added that fans chant ‘Dayan’ ‘Dayan’ whenever she is out. Here is what she said:

Fans across social media are coming up with mixed opinions. Sajal Aly’s fans are quite happy to see her in back to back projects and are loving her new strategy of being on screen but many are of the view that she should come alongside experienced actors. A fan wrote, “From which angle does Ameer look like a hero?” Another comment stated, ” Ameer has given back-to-back flops, yet he is being cast with Sajal in a Farhat Ishtiaq script. It seems that the precondition for getting a good script is either being a nepo kid or a favorite—otherwise, you must have a record of flops. Ameer is a good actor, though, so I don’t mind this pairing. Many praised Sajal”. A fan wrote, “Sajal has become the Akshay Kumar of our industry—working day and night!” Another fan gave a suggestion to Sajal about her appearance, saying, “Khair to Sajal Aly the actor, I really hope you experiment with your looks in these two new projects. I want to see you in something new and fresh.” Read the comments:
