One of Pakistan’s most famous and highest-paid actress Saba Qamar shared a past incident when she was insulted by the female director for the sake of money.
The Baaghi actress shared, “Once I was sick and for the sake of PKR 1,000 only I reached theatre for the performance. The female director literally kicked me off after performance and handed over PKR 500. I am successful now and I wish I would never do the same like people did with me.”
Saba Qamar has made her name with her powerful performances in many dramas including; Baaghi, Maat and Digest Writer. She is the recipient of several awards, including four Lux Style Awards, a Hum Award, and a Filmfare Award nomination.
Qamar was awarded by The Government of Pakistan with two of the country’s highest civilian honours, the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2012, and Pride of Performance in 2016.
On the work front, Saba Qamar is working in Sarmad Khoosat’s upcoming film Kamli. We are looking forward to her upcoming film.
