Sara Chaudhary is a former Pakistani model and television actor who gained popularity through her hit television projects and modeling campaigns. Her claim-to-fame project was PTV’s Chokhat. Her other notable dramas include Behlawa, Tere Pehlu Main, Teri Ek Nazar, Din Dhalay, Chahat, Malangi, Tum Kahan Hum Kahan, and others. Sara Chaudhary left the media industry at the peak of her career. She became religious, joined the Al Huda Institute, and devoted her life to religious preaching. She is now happily married and has three children. Sara joined showbiz in 2002–2003 and left it in 2010.


Recently, Sara Chaudhary appeared on Farrukh Warraich’s podcast, where she opened up about the casting couch being an unfortunate reality of the entertainment industry.


Talking about the casting couch, Sara Chaudhary said, “I didn’t receive such offers directly because my mother supported me. Initially, it was difficult for us. When I had just started, my mother received shocking offers that were traumatic and upsetting for her. Some offers worried her so much that I remember she once said, ‘Let’s quit.’ My mother was actually crying. She asked me to focus on my studies and said you wouldn’t work in the media anymore. It was a very disgusting offer that I can’t even mention here, but someone clearly said that you can’t flourish in the industry without going through certain things. To that, my mother firmly replied that we don’t need to do those things. In the beginning, I was accepting work opportunities for the sake of my career, but later I took a stand for myself.
