Shaista Lodhi played the second wife of older man in the drama. People are loving her acting as Nargis. Well, recently, Shaista Lodhi gave the interview to BBC Urdu in which she discussed the importance of marriages of elderly people. Shaista Lodhi said, “When I read Samjhota’s script, I was sure that I would do it, we all think that the parents are only there for house hold tasks after a certain age, I liked an elder couple’s love in the drama also I loved that they are showing marriage of that man. In Our society, when our parents reach a certain age, we think that they can’t marry, we don’t think about our parents marriage, I found it as food of thought. It is necessary, we should tell our elders that they have a life why we want them not to enjoy life, why we want our parents to rest or remain inactive. We, as society are ignoring elderly people, we only cater a certain age group which gives you rating. A lot of people are loving the drama. Watch out:
