The disqualification of Mr.Nawaz Sharif from the post of the Prime Minister of Pakistan created a stir in the country, to say the least. The subsequent developments carried a lot of interest in the minds of general public and celebrities alike. One such celebrity is our cricket star, Shoaib Akhtar.
Pakistan’s Flash posted a tweet on his official account showing President Mamnoon Hussain administering the oath of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the new Prime Minister. He referred to the President as “Darshan Lal”.
A Hindu political leader Mr Darshan Lal is now a cabinet minister in Pakistan. This is our polite way of saying Pakistan is a secular state. pic.twitter.com/mbRS4BFm1p

The twitter warriors were obviously eager to respond to his tweet and point out the mismatch in the picture and the caption.

He also got backlash for calling Pakistan a secular state in the tweet:
Pakistan is not a secular state ,should Islamic because its name is Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

So that's how you define secularism? Shoaib let's focus on cricket only
