Shah Daulat was a young Pakistani mountaineer, known for his exceptional high-altitude climbing skills. He hailed from the Shimshal Valley, a region famous for producing some of Pakistan’s finest climbers. Shah Daulat successfully summited several major peaks in the Karakoram range and represented Pakistan in international expeditions, bringing pride to the country. He completed multiple expeditions due to his ace climbing skills and technical expertise in the Karakoram region. He was highly respected within the global mountaineering community. Besides climbing, he was a skilled skier and a talented cricketer, known as a fine batsman on the field.

The young Pakistani climber and mountaineer Shah Daulat tragically passed away in an unfortunate climbing accident at the age of 28. During a climb on Friday evening, Shah Daulat suddenly slipped on the ice and fell nearly 400 metres, sustaining fatal injuries. He died on the spot. Local volunteers shifted his body to a government hospital in Sost, near the Pakistan–China border at Khunjerab Pass. On Saturday, his body was dispatched to Shimshal for burial. He was laid to rest in his native village, Shimshal.
