Talking about it, Bushra Ansari said, “I have observed that girls fall in love easily, including me. It’s a general opinion. I have even seen this in Indian and English films: if a girl and a boy are in a relationship, or they are friends, or having an affair, or are classmates, and if the boy proposes to the girl, she gets astonished and flabbergasted with happiness that someone has proposed to her. If he gives her a ring, she nearly dies with happiness. I thought, what’s the psyche behind it? It is good that someone wants to marry you, but girls get faint if they get a proposal. Why? That’s not enough for marriage. Girls getting marriage proposals becomes the ultimate achievement and goal of life for them. I want to ask those girls: are you any animal, or are you dependent or useless? Why is someone proposing to you such a big achievement? This happens because our society has that mindset. Girls get happy as if they are disabled or a burden on the earth. See the qualities in men instead of falling for a marriage trap, but girls ignore multiple things just after getting a proposal. I don’t know why they lose their minds over the proposal, as if they are inferior. I am not preaching rebellion, but I want to give them a thought so that they will be careful in the future.
