He recently garnered praise for his drama serial Sanwal Yaar Piya, though fans didn’t like the ending of the show. Currently, he is reportedly directing an upcoming Eid telefilm.
Recently, Danish Nawaz appeared on Nadia Khan’s morning show Rise and Shine. On the show, he defended Sanwal Yaar Piya’s sad ending.
Talking about it, Danish Nawaz said, “The love which is easily achievable is not real love. In reality, many true lovers didn’t have a happy ending, like Majnu didn’t have Laila and Ranjha didn’t find Heer. People do suffer in true love in reality. Viewers are thinking that I am the villain of this story. The ending of Sanwal Yaar Piya was just realistic. Also, only Sanwal loved Piya; it was a one-sided love. Piya herself was confused. She thought of Sanwal as a friend, not a lover. People do get so close in friendships.” Watch here:
Sanwal Yaar Piya fans are extremely angry with Danish Nawaz and the writer for defending the ending. Many are saying that they will not watch any drama of Hashim Nadeem, Durefishan Saleem, and Feroze Khan after being betrayed by the makers of Sanwal Yaar Piya.
