He has now spoken about the infamous Pakistan Idol controversy and clarified everything.
Recently, Sajjad Ali’s song Ravi was sung on an Indian Punjabi singing show. Two young men were beautifully singing the song but people started questioning why Sajjad did not object to this while he did not allow his music on Pakistan Idol.
Sajjad Ali took to Instagram and categorically denied giving permission to the Indian show for using his music. He shared that they did a cover of his song without any permission. He praised their talent and said that his team will look into it.
The legendary singer also shared how copyright laws work all over the world. He praised Pakistan Idol and all the talent on the show. He then explained how he is a self-financed talent and it his right to get paid by big show corporations if his songs are used. That is what he spoke about back then and it was not that he does not want Pakistanis to sing his songs. Kahna Lahore is an area and a heartbreaking news has come out and it has the whole nation mourning. A big tragedy happened when 14 children died in a roof collapse. The incident happened when a private tuition center was being run in a run down building in the area. The roof collapsed while construction work was happening at the site.
There were 19 injured in the incident. The students were present at the center while construction workers were working on the roof made of T-Iron. They put on mud in order to strengthen the structure which collapsed by the weight and children were buried underneath. 14 kids have died until now while their teacher also passed away.

Chef Fatima
Chef Fatima Ali, also known as Fati, was a celebrated Pakistani-American chef and television personality who gained widespread recognition after her appearance in the American cooking show Top Chef (Season 15), where she was voted the fan favorite. Soon after Top Chef ended, she was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare form of bone and soft tissue cancer. After an aggressive battle with cancer, she passed away at the age of 29 in January 2019.
Naheed Ansari
Naheed Ansari was a famous Pakistani chef. She had 35 years of experience in culinary arts. Naheed was known for her popular television appearances. She appeared on multiple cooking shows on renowned TV channels. She was the director of Creative Hands by Naheed Ansari. Naheed Ansari was also a well-known figure because of her cooking and baking courses. She was an expert teacher and a very decent, kind, and soft-spoken person. In July 2024, Naheed Ansari passed away after a long battle with cancer.
Chef Zakir Qureshi
Zakir Qureshi was a renowned Pakistani chef who gained recognition through his television appearances on Hum TV’s cooking channel, Masala TV. Chef Zakir taught thousands of recipes to people through his live cooking show. He was an expert in Pakistani as well as international cuisine. The chef had a huge fan following in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and other countries. Chef Zakir Qureshi passed away at the age of 58 in April 2025 after a long battle with kidney disease.
Chef Rahat Ali
Chef Rahat Ali was one of the most popular names in the Pakistani culinary industry. She had been a part of Geo TV and other channels as a cooking expert. Her daughter, Chef Maida, was also a renowned chef. The beloved Chef Rahat Ali recently passed away. The family did not share the cause of her death and requested privacy while confirming her death on social media.
Nida Yasir’s father revealed beef with Adnan Siddiqui. Nida’s fathrr Kazim Pasha was a big time producer and director on PTV. He is responsible for launching many of the big stars of today. Kazim Pasha was a guest on Power Table show when he spoke about his experience while working with Adnan Siddiqui. He has since retired and now lives with and focuses on his family.
Bas Tera Saath Ho is a drama which is receiving love from the audience. Written by Saira Raza and directed by Qasim Ali Mureed, the show has taken the male Cinderella angle as he is being rescued by Sana Javed as Ansa. The show has gone through a big twist as Ansa and Anas have gotten married.
