Group Captain Asim Tariq Shaheed got martyred yesterday in Islamabad and the incident has shaken the nation. He was travelling from Islamabad to Rawalpindi for an official engagement when he was caught in a conflict on street. He was shot as he served as a hero and saved the day.

Asim Tariq saw how a man was dragging a woman towards his bike and he was trying to kidnap her. He intervened and introduced himself. He saved the woman from her alleged colleague who wanted to abduct her. In a fit of rage, that man shot him and he died on the spot.
