Abbas Ashraf Awan is Imran Ashraf’s brother and a struggling Pakistani actor who got initial fame through his brilliant acting in Hum TV’s famous drama serial Sabaat. In the drama serial Sabaat, he played a negative character and his performance was admired by fans. He also appeared in Sawaal Anaa Ka Tha, Mastaani and Mera Dil Meri Marzi. Currently, fans are praising his acting in Hum TV’s drama serial Woh Ziddi Si.
Imran Ashraf’s brother Abbas Ashraf Awan recently made an appearance in PTV Home’s talk show where he talked about the highs and lows of being a celebrity sibling.
Talking about it, Imran Ashraf’s brother said, “One of the biggest lows of being a celebrity sibling is that I am considered an extraordinary actor because of his work. The benefit would be that I have his name with me, but still I give the audition for all my projects. The project I am currently doing is through him, but I was given this project after a year of his recommendation. I gave the audition for this, and yes, the audition always works in the favour of the actor. It’s not that I have been taking extra privilege of his name; otherwise, I would have been in every other project”.
