Lately, Juggun Kazim made an appearance in FHM’S podcast hosted by Adnan Faisal. In the podcast Juggun Kazim opened up about her first abusive marriage.
Talking about it, she said that she was physically abused and tortured in her marriage which lasted for 1.5 years. Juggun Kazim said that she got married within a week of her affection with first husband who first raised his hands on her in the third week of their marriage.
Juggun said, “The first warning signs should never be ignored. It all starts with the abusive words. You need to make a decision when he first raises hand on you, I could make a decision but I was a fool. It was my fault that I made this choice, I got married secretly and told my parents because he was too good looking. I know it was my fault. When Noor Makhdoom’s case went viral, all my family used to discuss it. I didn’t open up about it because I didn’t want to go viral but it was a terrible time for me. When I was in marriage, I used to think I would be treated in the same way, what later happened to Noor Makhdoom. I was seven months pregnant when he abused me and threw me out of the house in torn clothes. May Allah be good to those neighbours who covered me up later.
