Kafeel is a drama written by Umera Ahmed and directed by Syed Meesam Naqvi. The show is a hard watch as many women have been able to relate to the hardships Zeba, played by Sanam Saeed is facing. The show has taken a leap and now we have the kids of Zeba and Jami all grown up. They track is showing how a dysfunctional family ends up affecting two generations. Amongst all the toxicity, Subuk played by Aashir Wajahat is a breath of fresh air.
Aashir Wajahat plays Subuk, the son of Zeba who has seen what has actually gone down in his parents’ marriage. He is a supportive brother a shield for his mother. He is realistic and responsible and many young men have been able to relate to this character by how naturally it has been showcased on screen.
In the recent development, Subuk told Daneen how his life will never be easy and he will never drag a girl like her into his hardships. The way he spoke about his financial difficulties and how he will marry a girl from his background hit hearts of many. Aashir did a great job as he portrayed what Kafeel is all about.
