Maya Ali in her recent interview with BBC talked about the latest trend of dramas in which women are always shown to be a damsel in distress.
“Women are way too much victimized in our dramas. I don’t think my home is a place where women are sufferers. My mother who is a role model for me is a very strong woman. I just think that our public likes to make women weep or they like to watch women crying. If there is a project in which a woman is not crying, I feel that people don’t like it” said Maya Ali
