Minal Khan Barat and Valima Make-up
Minal Khan’s make-up look for her Barat was a mix of all the modern-day make-up techniques. Her eyebrows were not sharply defined but her make-up artist experimented by following the biggest eyebrow trend of 2021. The fluffy somewhat natural eyebrow look is a rage at the moment. Most brides are not seen sporting the look since they are still warming up to it. Instead of going for darker eyeliner, Minal Khan was seen in a smokey-eyed look and there was no obvious eyeliner. This is another latest trend that looked good on her. There was no heavy blush on or highlighting which also suited Minal Khan. Her hairstyle could easily pass as a messy bun done right. Overall, Minal Khan looked gorgeous on her big day. Popular celebrity make-up artist Qasim Liaquat gave Minal Khan this look for her big day. Minal Khan had recently done a bridal shoot with him which was such an intelligent way of making sure that he got enough ‘practice’ on her face before he gave her the look she wanted on her Barat.
Minal Khan’s elaborate and intricate mehndi design was also the center of attention on her big day. She chose Kashees to give her the kind of bridal design which truly stood out. She wore traditional jewelry which was all gold with a hint of green. It also had some white pearls.
For her Valima, Minal Khan sported a beautiful dewy look. The smokey eyes look was created perfectly by Sara Ali of Sara Salon and Spa. She used her own make-up products to create the look which was definitely a first. For her initial pictures and video at the salon, Minal Khan’s hair was half tied. Later on, for her actual look, her hair was tied in a loose bun. She wore the diamond necklace set she was given as moo dikhai by her husband. This was one of the best make-up looks Minal Khan has been seen in ever, definitely a great choice.
Minal Khan Barat and Valima Dresses
Minal Khan wore a beautiful cranberry Pishwas which was designed to perfection by the leading designer Annus Abrar. Although this dress was heavily embroidered, the actress carried it with the utmost elegance throughout. Minal Khan had also done modeling for Annus Abrar’s bridal collection therefore once again she worked with the person who was going to be in charge of her dress on her special day which was a wise move. Minal wore customized jewelry by Ali Javeri Jewelers on her Barat.
For her Valima look Minal Khan wore an elegantly and stylishly designed off-shoulder maxi dress designed by Erum Khan Couture. Her overall look was perfect for a Valima bride. The long net dupatta covered in beautiful sequins and cut stones were a signature Erum Khan design.
Barat and Valima Events
Minal Khan’s Barat function was organized indoors. The stage was beautifully decorated with mostly white flowers. Even though Minal herself wore red with gold and rust combinations, the decorations and interiors for the wedding were for the most part white. The white background with a hint of green leaves looked stunning.

The Valima function was held outdoors and was organized by Par Faire Events. The Valima decorations were on point for the occasion. The event organizers made good use of decorative candles and chandeliers which gave this affair a very royal look. The décor and overall feel of both the functions were different from each other which was another plus.

The Criticism
Minal Khan and Ahsan Mohsin never give a lot of attention to their critics but that does not make them stop! Although people criticized every little thing about these functions, one thing which received more criticism than any other was the way Ahsan and Minal shared the moo dikhai with their followers. Most people felt that there was an overdose of the couple on social media and that they were revealing too much.
