Nameer Khan is a newcomer in the industry. He played the now loved and hated character Ammar Bakhtiyar in Qarz e Jaan. He nailed the role to perfection and he is being touted as the highlight of this project. The actor took to YouTube live and spoke with his fans after the finale concluded. He shared many off-screen stories and revealed how some of the most intense scenes were shot.
Ammar Bakhtiyar was a very negative character. He was always high on drugs and looked intoxicated in all scenes. This is not an easy feat to achieve. Nameer Khan was able to make the scenes look realistic. He shared how he practiced and researched it and the technique which made his intoxication look real.
Nameer Khan revealed that he researched this. He knew that your eye blink frequency lowers when you are drunk. He also shared that his approach to it was to keep it natural. He thought that an intoxicated person would try to show that he is normal, he is not drunk or high and that is what Ammar used to do. He also read some on the internet. He added that he still did not make it look 100% realistic but he tried. He revealed that he is allergic to cigarette smoke in real life and his mother was worried that he will be addicted to smoking after Qarz e Jaan but he is fine.

Nameer Khan also shared that he is a very calm person in real life. He never gets angry so he used to shake his arms and hands and he would get into a head space to increase his blood pressure when he was playing the chaotic Ammar. That is how he was able to portray Ammar’s condition realistically.
