Pakistani film industry is on revival mode for some years now. Things got downhill due to Covid for two years but the theatres are open now and films are back. We saw Khel Khel Main being the first Pakistani cinema release post-pandemic. This Eid ul Fitr however, saw severe competition with 5 films releasing together. Things got messy when Dr. Strange also was released and it took most of the business away from the Pakistani films.
Though huge numbers were being reported for many films, producers wanted Dr. Strange removed from cinemas as they were allegedly bearing losses. This brought forward the question how much was being utilized as budgets for Pakistani films. As budgets are generally hidden from the public eye and not shared in Pakistan unlike in Hollywood and Bollywood. With two huge Pakistani films ready to hit the silver screens, the question was asked by Mooroo from leading filmmakers Fizza Ali Meerza and Nabeel Qureshi.
They revealed that budgets are not announced as people who are not connected to filmmaking cannot understand the maths behind it and they would generally pass off negative comments. Breaking down the business, Fizza and Nabeel shared that a film has to make thrice what its budget was to actually be in profit. Making twice takes to break even. Nabeel Qureshi also shared that a film’s business is not only ticket sales and a lot more including television and music rights need to be added.

Famous television personality, Aamir Liaquat Hussain passed away on 9th June, under mysterious circumstances as he was found unconscious at his residence, and was declared dead later. In order to reveal the actual reason behind Aamir Liaquat’s sudden demise, on 20th of June a local court in Karachi ordered to perform autopsy of Aamir Liaqat.
Sindh health department recently issued a notification regarding Aamir Liaquat’s autopsy, according to which a six-member medical board will be formed for the autopsy of Aamir Liaquat. The medical board will be headed by surgeon Samiya Syed. According to the notification, the autopsy will be held on 23rd June, in the presence of magistrates and police officials. Some samples of Aamir Liaquat’s body from the grave will be taken to the laboratory for chemical examination to know the actual reason behind his death, without shifting his body. The police officers have been ordered to make necessary arrangements for the autopsy.

Passing away of the popular TV host and Islamic scholar Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain, under extremely suspicious conditions has made his fans and authorities concerned about the cause of his death, a lot of fans and public is debating over the cause of his death.
Amidst the debates, a petitioner filed the complaint that the host was a popular personality, hence, his post-mortem should be done. After the petition, the court ordered the autopsy to be done.
Lately, after the decision, his first former wife Syeda Bushra raised her concerns over the matter, now, his second former wife Syeda Tuba has also shared her concerns over the autopsy of the host. Syeda Tuba Anwar is not in favor of the decision and said, “If the authorities deemed to perform a postmortem examination of Aamir Liaquat, perhaps it would’ve been better to do so on the day of his passing. To exhume his mortal remains, for a postmortem examination more than a week after his departure, is extremely distressful for those grieving this loss. However I trust in Allah’s Will. I believe Allah pak is the best disposer of our affairs. May Allah pak make this easy for the deceased and the acquaintances Aameen”

The actor and host said, “Mine and Sana’s story is typical like many other people, I saw her on a Shaadi (Wedding), I liked her and approached her, she said, “talk to my family “, I talked to her father, I got direct and then I got married, now I am happily married, it’s been more than two years and the system is working well”. The actor and host said, “I left the show because I was thinking about it since Ramadan, I thought that I shouldn’t do such a show, my friends are still shocked on it, the tiktokers are also worried about my decision,I love them, they respect me a lot but there are certain things which I think should not go on air, whatever was happening in that show, was not good and I left the show, All those slaps were for teal in that viral episode, I got worried for a few minutes that what would happen if that guy would slap back to that girl Muskan, and that was the reason why I intervened and shouted and it had gone viral”
