Syed Mohammad Ahmed is the beloved father of Pakistani dramas. He does very positive characters and fans always fall in love with him. He is a part of all the big dramas and we recently saw him in Sunn Mere Dil and Aye Ishq e Junoon. The star is also a great writer and he has written some very out of the box stories for television screens, the most recent being Kuch Ankahi.
Syed Mohammad Ahmed was a guest on Gup Shab and spoke about how we are not really making dramas on television. This is just a regurgitation of the same stories without any purpose. He added that the notion that audience does not accept good and real dramas is also wrong as Kabli Pulao and Mann Jogi both became mega hits.

He also spoke about the deteriorating film industry in Pakistan. He said that we cannot make films. Syed Mohammad Ahmed added that he was optimistic sometime back but now he is sure that we will not be making any films as filmmakers simply want to copy Bollywood. They are not keen on learning the art of filmmaking and just rely on copying Indian films formulas.
