Presidential Awards in Pakistan are the highest civil honors presented by the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to individuals, including citizens and foreign nationals, who have demonstrated exceptional excellence, courage, or service in their respective fields. These awards are conferred to recognize significant contributions in various fields such as art, literature, science, sports, nursing, and public service. Multiple categories of awards are given to professionals according to their services.
This year, the investiture ceremony for the Presidential Awards was held in Islamabad today, where the President bestowed awards upon various Pakistani actors and sports personalities as well. Zahid Ahmed, Fazila Qazi, Hadiqa Kiani, Kiran Naz, Samina Peerzada, Irfan Khoosat, Humaira Arshad , Savera Nadeem and Shahid Afridi were the celebrities who got awards.
