Adnan Siddiqui, the host of the hit Pakistani reality show ‘Tamasha,’ recently appeared on Nida Yasir’s ‘Good Morning Pakistan’ where he revealed the story of how he landed the hosting gig. ‘Tamasha,’ which airs yearly on ARY Digital, has become one of Pakistan’s biggest reality television productions since it launched in 2022. The fourth season is currently wrapping up after a positive public reception.

During the morning show, Siddiqui opened up about the initial offer to host the ARY Digital production:
“I grabbed the opportunity when it was offered to me. I was in London at the time, doing a fundraiser, when I received a call from the makers who offered me ‘Tamasha.’ I told them that people would compare it with ‘Bigg Boss.’ They said the comparison might be drawn, but we would do it in our own way.”

Siddiqui addressed the frequent comparison to the popular Indian reality show, stating that while the formats are similar, ‘Tamasha’ has its own identity. “There is no real comparison — theirs is a big, mega show with its own identity. They’ve been running it successfully for 19 years, while we are now on our fourth season. Yes, it’s the same franchise: some call it ‘Big Brother,’ some call it ‘Bigg Boss,’ and we call it ‘Tamasha.'”
