Dramas have been an integral part of Pakistani Entertainment since years. The makers of the dramas will possibly do the best to attract the largest audience and one of the most important thing that entices the viewers is the OST. Loads of dramas are made every year and every drama has its own original sound track but only a few manage to win the audiences hearts. This year had brought many improvements not just in terms of story line but in the OST’s too. Every year there’ll be probably only a few good OST’s but this year, there were quite many that lived up to the expectations.

10) Besharam OST
Besharam was a love story which will surely be remembered. The drama gave us such a beautiful couple. The OST of Besharam can’t be given a miss, the lyrics are the real music. It is written and composed by Waqar Ali, where as sung by Zoe Viccaji.

9) Zara Yad Kar OST
The drama started as something extra ordinary but somewhere in between lost the charm because it was dragged. The OST is nevertheless pleasing and amazing. It is composed by renowned musician Sahir Ali Bagga, the lyrics are written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar and is sung by the living legend Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

8) Udaari OST
Udaari was one of the most loved dramas of this year. It raised awareness on a very sensitive issue and brought along an OST to remember. The OST is composed and penned by Sahir Ali Bagga, the singers are Hadiqa Kiani and Farhan Saeed.

7) Bin Roye OST
Bin Roye was the most awaited drama of the year since it is made on one of the best novels. The drama might not have much to offer but the OST surely has because it’s really enjoyable. The lyrics are written by Shakeel Sohail, it’s composed and sung by Shiraz Uppal.

6) Mann Mayyal OST
The drama was the best rated and broke all records, but received mixed reviews. The OST of Mann Mayyal is a soothing to the ears, it has been brilliantly sung by Qurat-Ul-Ain Baloch and Shuja Haider, while composed and penned by Shuja Haider.

5) Dillagi OST
Dillagi was one of the best dramas seen this year, it had a different story line and connected to the audiences instantly. The original version of song Dillagi was sung by the late legend Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and recurred by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for the drama. The OST is undoubtedly mesmerizing, it is composed by Sahir Ali Bagga and lyrics are written by Faiza Iftikhar who is also the writer of the drama. The OST had many parts and this is one of those parts.

4) Dil Banjaara OST
The drama and the OST, both are really very refreshing. The OST gives the feeling of serenity and is so peaceful that it can surely bring us to a whole new world. It is is composed and penned by Shuja Haider. The singers are Asim Azhar, Rasmia Hanif Baloch and Shuja Haider.

3) Khuda aur Mohabbat season 2 OST
The drama has been loved by the audience because it has a great story line and the OST of the drama is incredible, it has been sung amazingly with fabulous lyrics. The feeling it gives is too good for words. It is sung by Ahmed Jahanzeb and Afshan Fawad. The lyrics are written by Javeria Saud.

2) Sanam OST
There are not much praises for the drama since it doesn’t has much to offer but the OST is totally opposite. It is remarkable, because everything is just so perfect and praiseworthy. The OST is composed, penned and sung by extremely talented Shuja Haider.

1) Sang e Marmar OST
The drama and the OST both deserve this rank because they’re unmatchable. Sang e Marmar has brought a story with no cliche’s and lots of interesting things that we just can’t get over it. The OST of the drama has been written in such a depth that it touches the core, and Rahat’s voice has made it exceptional. One can just sit back holding the reverence for the commendable OST. It is composed by Sahir Ali Bagga, lyrics are written by Imran Raza and the singer is Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
