Mahira Khan is a very beautiful and brilliant actress who started her career as a VJ. She has done countless hit projects including films and dramas. Humsafar, Bin Roye, Sadqay Tumharey and Sheher-e-Zaat are her few prominent projects. She is also an internationally known figure.
Recently, the Superstar actor came in GMP Shaan-e-Suhoor where she has revealed about her entry into showbiz.
Talking about her entry in showbiz she said, ” I went to Indus to pick my friends up where the channel executive Ghazanfar Ali saw me and pointed finger towards me and said, ‘ girl come here, we need new VJs and you are suitable for that ‘ .
Mahira kept on saying, ” I refused him and said, ‘ I don’t want to be a VJ, I want to be a movie star “.
“He said that you will be a movie star too but right now we need a VJ”, said Mahira.
Mahira also explained that at that time the Indus Music’s Vjs went to MTV Pakistan which was newly launched and there was a need of Vjs, so on the channels request she agreed to do a few shows but later on she started enjoying it .
Talking about TV and films she said that Shoaib Mansoor offered her Bol and then she got Hum TV drama Humsafar.
