Lion escaped in Lahore and caused chaos. Exotic pets are quite common in Pakistan with many rich people and the elite class keeping pets that should not be kept in homes. One such house had a lion in their house and it escaped into the streets. The lion entered the Harbanspura area where he caused chaos as people started running in the streets.
The lion was allegedly shot by another citizen who felt threatened by the animal. This is yet another case of irresponsible behaviour and cruelty towards animals.
