After doing a few projects in India, Humaima Malick is back in Pakistan making her presence felt. Few days back Humaima Malick posted a picture of herself with the famous and talented Shaan Shahid on the sets of Arth 2 which is an upcoming film that is going to be the first film of its kind because it will be made in collaboration with India.

She said that she was already apprehensive about the drama and then she went and they had to shoot dining table scenes all day. Humaima is annoyed by the recent trends in dramas where the same story keeps repeating and there is nothing much to offer. She said she loves action in her character and cannot do such simple projects.

The report also states that Humaima started eating desi food, in order to gain weight! Apparently, this is quite a task for the DMPS actress and she is having a difficult time with it!

Humaima Malik who was last seen in Dekh Magar Pyar Se, couldn’t really leave a mark with her performance. However, she now has few big projects in the pipeline like Arth 2 featuring Shaan Shahid and Bilal Lashari’s next tentatively titled Maula Jatt 2.

Humaima Malick will be starring in the reboot of cult classic Maula Jatt, alongside Hamza Ali Abbasi, Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan. Humaima Malick was approached by the Punjab government to endorse the Punjab Women’s Protection Bill 2016 (passed in February 2016) which contains remedies for victims of violence, criminalise all forms of violence against women and also provides them with special centers which remove the usual red tape hurdles that complicate a woman’s quest for justice.

The latest news about Old film’s Arth’s remake is that Shaan Shahid has decided to cast Humaima Malick and Hamayun Saeed for his movie. Arth is the remake of an Indian movie with the same name by Mahesh Bhatt. Humaima Malick will be playing the lead, a role that was played by Samita Patil in Arth.

The original movie Arth was liked by many including the critics. People have huge expectations from this movie. Pervez Kaleem will be writing the screenplay for this remake. The original movie was written and directed by Mahesh Bhatt. The music of the movie also became very popular in a short span of time.

Humaima Malick was expected to make her Bollywood debut alongside Sanjay Dutt in Sher. However, the latter got arrested and the film was shelved. But, now that Dutt is back with a bang, Sher has commenced its production and is going to be bigger this time.

After failing her debut with Raja Natwarlal, Humaima Malick is all games for her upcoming movie. While talking about her role and plot of the movie to a leading local publication house, she said:

“I can’t reveal much about the story yet as I have a strict no-spoilers policy. What I can tell you though is that it’s a remake of Mother India. Most of the film is shot in Rajasthan; we shot for 45 days straight in Jaipur.”

It’s a period film and it’s the first time I’m doing a period film. It’s also a challenging role but I’ve never shied away from doing demanding roles, I actually find it very exhilarating.”

Malick will be seen playing the role of Sanjay Dutt’s wife and will be in a completely different avatar.

Pakistani actresses consider it their big fortune to star alongside big Bollywood stars, and Humaima is of the same view. The BOL actress explains:

Talking to Galaxy Lollywood Mikaal revealed “I play a London-based Pakistani lawyer in this social thriller where we will be shedding light on an issue. Humaima Malick is playing one of the female leads while we are in talks with actresses like Armeena Khan, Sarrish Khan for the other lead role. The senior and versatile Pakistani actress Huma Nawab recently appeared in an interview with “Fuchsia Magazine”.

Huma Nawab while sharing her journey from Hum Kahan Kay Sachay Thay, mentioned that “After lockdown, I got a call from Nina for a project. I asked her to give me some time to think about it. I talked to my friends about the script and they literally forced me to do this project. I was quite nervous as I was not doing any work since a long time but luckily I managed to give my best in Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay.”

“I wasn’t expecting that my character will get a click and will be appreciated by the audience. I just thought that it’s a simple character and will not get much response, but I was overwhelmed by the amount of love and appreciation I got from the audience”, added Huma Nawab.

Huma Nawab  the artist known for her performance in the decade of 90’s is making a come back in dramas. The drama is directed/produced by Barkat Siddiqi. Huma Nawab is working in a drama after a gap of more than 14 years.

Huma Nawab started her acting career from drama Silsila in 1982 from PTV Islamabad Center. Huma took a break from acting after wards and resumed her career in the 1990’s. Chand Grihan was her most successful drama and her pair with Ayaz Nayek was quite  popular. Nijaat and Dhoop mein sawan are other famous plays of Huma Nawab. Huma Nawab migrated to USA in 1999-2000 and left showbiz scene.

Huma Nawab while disclosing the reason behind being unmarried, mentioned that “Honestly speaking, I have no regrets of being a unmarried woman. I’m a freedom lover, I’ll not misuse my freedom but I want to be free. If I would have got married, I would have done injustice with my family. I can’t tolerate anyone’s orders so it was difficult for me to live such a life.”

“Everyone has a right to live their lives according to their own will. No one is forced to get married, it’s one’s own decision to get married or not. I would suggest that if you have a double thought in your mind regarding your married life that whether you’ll be able to manage it or not, don’t get married then. It will be a lifetime conflict with yourself”, added Huma Nawab.

Singer Huma Khawaja has released a new video of her song Justuju. The video starring Huma Khawaja and  Jared Schaefer is shot in Houston, United States. Huma Khawaja has released this song after a long gap.

Huma Khawaja got fame for  being part of Pakistan’s first female pop band ‘Symphony’ in 1990’s. Her famous album is Laaj. Professional wise Huma is an air hostess, but she also pursue singing.

Huma Khawaja is a brilliant Pakistani singer who started her career with a female musical band Symphony. She was the lead vocalist of her band. The singer rose to fame through her melodious cover of legendary singer Nazia Hassan’s song. Her cover of popular song Dil Ki Lagi was loved by fans. Huma Khwaja sang unlimited hit songs and left her singing career. Lately, she was in Dubai where she served in an international airline.

Huma appeared in G Sarkar with Nauman Ijaz in which she revealed the reason of not getting married, replying to host’s question about companionship, Huma Khawaja said, “Its not like that I didn’t ever think of marriage, I thought about getting married but when you are outside Pakistan and you have a very jet-setting lifestyle, also you are living a fast life where you are only coming to home to eat, to sleep or to do laundry, you don’t much think about a companion. Sometimes, you halfheartedly think about getting married, you also regret not getting married at the right age. Also, in all this scenario, you become a horribly independent person”.
