Udaari is a drama that brought the taboo topic of child abuse to mainstream television. It broke shackles and not only started important conversations, it was also able to entertain its audience. Udaari is also a double revenge saga. Ahsan Khan played the role of his career and his revenge arc will give you creeps but how the women of Udaari stand up and seek revenge will leave you satisfied in the end.
Balaa
Balaa is a drama with very strong performances. It is one of those shows where evil keeps winning one episode after another. Ushna Shah hits it out of the park with Balaa and you will hate her as she carries on her shenanigans but who is actually evil gets cloudy in Balaa. This show had one of the biggest plot twists in the end and it is a revenge story that will leave you satisfied after fatiguing you with a lot of tragedy.
Khaani
Khaani is the drama that cemented Feroze Khan and Sana Javed as superstars. The show was a mega blockbuster and it was inspired by a real life incident that occurred on the streets of Karachi. Khaani is a full blown revenge saga and it will leave the viewers satisfied as they did not make the woman lose the plot but she stood firm on her resolve and extracted revenge for the wrong done to her.
Deewangi
Deewangi is the drama that brought a big on-screen pairing of Danish Taimoor and Hiba Bukhari to the audience. The drama put Hiba Bukhari on the map while Danish became the superstar that he is today. This show also took inspiration from some real life instances and combined them with romance, mystery and revenge. Ye Dil Mera
Though people fell in love with Ahad Raza Mir when he played Dr Asfandyar in Yakeen Ka Safar, it was Ye Dil Mera where he showed his true potential as an actor. His angst, pain, anger and determination to seek revenge was beautifully performed by the actor while Sajal Aly and Adnan Siddiqui were equally good. Zarnish Khan and Mira Sethi added the extra masala and thus came out a revenge saga anyone would love to binge.
Khaie
Khaie took the revenge spirit up a notch and it has proved to be a game changer amongst the recent trends of dramas. The late Khalid Butt, Faysal Quraishi, Durefishan Saleem and even the young star Shuja Asad proved their mettle in each and every scene of Khaie. It is bloody, it is gory and it will leave you satisfied. Khaie is one of the best shows to come out of Pakistan in the last few years and it will leave you wanting for more.
Noor Jahan
Noor Jahan that started off as a typical saas bahu show ended up becoming a great revenge story. From Saba Hameed’s Noor Jahan to Kubra Khan’s Noor Bano, this drama had so many mind games that it felt entertaining, mysterious and left the audience wanting more. Even as Nooroo Mama ended up making up with her kids, the audience wanted to know more about the dynamis of the new power game which shows how great and popular this show was.
