Muneeb Butt has been booked for facilitating criminals who kidnapped a man. A man by the name of Mutaal Khan has stated that he was kidnapped by four gunned men while he was travelling from his home to the airport to go to Lahore. The now suspects picked him and transferred 8600 USD from his account. They also took his laptop and later dropped him in Korangi Industrial Area.
The actor is now among 6 people booked in the case. The four armed suspects have been identified as Hamza, Saalim, Shahid and Wazir. Additionally a constable and actor Muneeb Butt have been booked for facilitating at least two suspects in evading arrest. Muneeb’s involvement in the crime is not yet clear. The actor has secured a protective bail from Islamabad High Court while a pre-arrest bail was issued by Karachi Anti Terrorism Court after he surrendered. He has deposited surety bonds of Rs 100,000.

He further added, “The complainant has also taken unlimited and unending financial benefits from my client. Ask her what she was giving him in return for receiving crores from my client. Captain Abdullah Mehmud is a retired Pakistan Army officer famously known for portraying the iconic character of Captain Kashif in the hit PTV drama series Alpha Bravo Charlie, which aired in 1998. The drama featured the story of three competent army officers — Kashif, Faraz, and Gulsher. It was an ISPR production directed by ace director Shoaib Mansoor. The drama was also a sequel to ISPR’s Sunehrey Din.
Recently, retired Captain Abdullah Mehmud, who is also known as Captain Kashif, was spotted at an event where he recalled filming one of the most dangerous scenes in which he was hanging from a helicopter.
Replying to the question, “What was the most memorable moment of Alpha Bravo Charlie that you want to share with us?” he said, “What I remember the most is the helicopter scene where I was hanging from the helicopter. When it went up, my heartbeat almost skipped. I looked down at the mountains and realized, ‘Dude, if you fall from this height, you will be smashed.’ But thankfully, it didn’t happen, and I am here. The screen gets dull as soon as Usman goes missing. Only he has that energy among all the actors. Give me something more — it is not enough for me. The scenes are not hitting me. The pairings are good — Daniyal, Sehar, Sajal, Ameer — but I don’t know what’s missing. Maybe I am a commercial viewer. I am still waiting, but so far it has not been able to convince me. Yes, I only remember the impactful appearance of Simi Raheal. This show feels like it belongs to an era from 6 to 7 years ago; it’s not meant for today. The frames are good and the shots are beautiful but something is lacking.”

Momina Iqbal wrote in her Instagram story, “I have been facing severe online harassment, cyberbullying, mental torture, and life threats from an MPA associated with Pakistan Muslim League (N) for a long time. Despite repeatedly reporting the matter to NCCIA, FIA, and Punjab Police, no proper action has been taken due to the political influence of the individual involved. Instead of ensuring justice, attempts have been made to suppress my complaints, and even individuals associated with the office of Ms. Maryam Nawaz Sharif tried to discourage and silence the matter rather than allowing a fair investigation. As a result of speaking up and seeking legal action, both my family and I are facing serious threats to our safety. I request the concerned authorities to immediately conduct an impartial investigation, provide protection to my family, and take strict legal action against those involved. If this matter continues to be ignored, I will be compelled to hold a public press conference and present all available evidence against everyone involved in the harassment, threats, and suppression of my complaints in order to protect a political figure.”
She further requested Maryam Nawaz to take prompt action and help her in the matter. She also tagged important offices, news channels, and media portals.
