Hania Aamir and Diljit Dosanjh’s much anticipated Punjabi film Sardaar Ji 3 is successfully running in the cinemas worldwide, it was released on 27th June 2025. The film features a power-packed cast that includes Diljit Dosanjh, Neeru Bajwa, Hania Aamir, and Nasir Chinyoti, the film has quickly become the center of attention, especially in Pakistan. Recently, one of Pakistan’s most prominent Islamic scholars, Mufti Tariq Masood, weighed in on her sudden death and the lesson people should take from it.

Talking about her sudden death, Mufti Tariq Masood said, “Recently, a famous Indian actress passed away. People told me she was so famous and had multiple hit songs, but passed away suddenly. I asked, “People must have taken a lesson from her death?” Then I heard her dead body was burnt. I asked if people took any lesson from it. Especially, Hindus might have taken the lesson — but what I heard in the reply was, people have been posting her songs, videos, and are adding up to her sins. We should take lesson from such death, but I have seen us people don’t take lesson; instead, they tribute them. Some of the scenes in Hindu last rites are scary to watch — they themselves burn their loved ones and give them pain. This is why we should be thankful that we are born to Muslim families.”
