Umar Akmal is a hugely talented and popular Pakistani cricketer who has played all formats of cricket. He is a batsman and wicket keeper who had played for the national cricket team between 2009 to 2019. Lately, unfortunately, he also faced a temporary ban by the Pakistan Cricket Board for eighteen months for not disclosing details regarding anonymous calls by match fixers. Now, Umar Akmal is successfully out of the controversy and is playing cricket, he also spent a few months in the USA, where he played cricket. The ace cricketer currently appeared in the podcast with Nadir Ali where he talked about the criticism he faced on his dances and TikTok videos.

Talking about it, Umar Akmal said, “I only want to ask one question from you, I want to ask, ‘did you ever dance in your siblings’ wedding?, if people cannot enjoy in siblings’ wedding then where would they be dancing? outside?, likewise, if I consider you a family and I danced on your son’s birthday or so, what’s the big deal in it’, I only want to say that people who say, ‘I am not mature’, are mostly the cricketers, they always say that I’m not mature but they would not like if I would open their secrets, I am quite in respect”. It is always interesting to find out about the upcoming weddings of the entertainment and sports world and this time, it is now Umar Akmal, the very young Pakistani batsman, who has finally decided to tie a knot and get married.

What has been found amazing for now is the fact that he is actually getting married to the daughter of the former Pakistani spinner, Abdul Qadir. Though Umar’s luck has had been a real tough one recently, especially for the charge of violating the traffic signal and misbehaving with the cops on duty, Umar’s father-in-law has found to be speaking about this upcoming marriage. He is reported to have said that due to the cricket events lined up in near future, the dates of the ceremony are yet not finalized.

Umar Akmal is a well known Pakistani batsman who no longer bats well. According to Akmal, the reason he doesn’t get chosen in the team anymore is because he reported the abuse that he and his fellows suffered to PCB.

Umar Akmal, the wicket keeper batsman of Pakistan will be getting married in February 2014. As per media reports, Umar is engaged to daughter of former test cricketer and leg spinner Abdul Qadir in 2012. The marriage date will be finalized after Srilankan tour of Pakistan.

Kamran Akmal and Adnan Akmal are other brothers of Umar Akmal who have also played test cricket as wicket keepers.
