Kaaf Kangna is a romantic movie telling the story between a Pakistani boy and an Indian girl by the very philosophical love witer Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar and is a joint venture of ISPR and KRQ films.
The movie was first an Anoushey Mughal starrer who was replaced by Sohai Ali Abro as the female lead, but things did not work out as planned and now Urwa is the main protagonist in the film instead of Sohai.
There are big names from the music industry associated with the movie such as Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Atif Aslam. The lead characters of hero and heroine are to be executed by Sami Khan and Urwa Hocane now.
The brand Rang Rasiya has finally introduced their new Eid Campaign face. Previously, they were shooting it with actress Sana Javed but after a lot of complaints and issues they removed her. The issues were reported by model Manal Nadeem after shooting with Sana Javed for Rang Rasiya for their Eid special campaign. After Mawra Hocane, sister Urwa Hocane was recently offered a film by one of the leading filmmakers in India Ekta Kapoor. The title of the film was “Azhar” in which Urwa was offered to play the lead with Emran Hashmi. According to some sources, Sana Javed, the lead actress of ‘Mehrunnisa V Lub U’ was previously opted for the female lead of Rangreza but the things didn’t work out well with her therefore she was replaced by Urwa.
Rangreza is yet another big project in Urwa’s career. The movie is a love triangle between the star cast Bilal Asfraf, Urwa and Gohar Rasheed. Bilal is from the modern pop rock world and Gohar is playing a role of a qawwal in the film. The music revolves around the fusion of classical qawwali and modern pop music, as acknowledged by the director, Amir Mohiuddin himself. The movie holds most promise within the genre of music and we will listen to some good melodies from Abida Parveen, Asrar, Qurram, Fareed Ayaz and Abu Muhammad Qawwals under the musical direction of Akhtar Qayyum who is also the writer of the movie as well. The rom-com, previously titled Two+Two, is another movie of Urwa releasing this year in which you will see her in yet another character. She will be playing the role of a high profile businesswoman. She was so convinced by the script and her character in the movie that she turned down a Bollywood offer, a biopic of Indian cricketer Azharuddin, for it. Imran Abbas and Urwa Hocane have been confirmed to star in an upcoming drama. Produced by Sana Shahnawaz and Samina Humayun Saeed, the drama is titled Amanat and is said to be a romantic drama.
Talking about the upcoming drama serial Amanat producer Sana Shahnawaz said: “Amanat is a romantic family drama. It is a very beautiful and interesting story with its own twists and turns. It is not just a love story as it has many other significant elements to it as well. It is not an unusual story but it is definitely something hatke”.
The cast of the drama includes names like Saboor Aly, Gohar Rasheed, Asad Siddiqui, Haroon Shahid, Saba Hameed, Babar Ali, and many others.
