Pakistan has good relational ties with Turkey in terms of politics and now these ties have been extended to the entertainment industry. Before the cast of Dilis: Ertugrul became the national crush of Pakistan, there were a number of other Turkish actors and actresses who were the crush of the Pakistani audience. Turkish drama serials had some of the best faces we have ever seen. This fandom and love for Turkish actors can be traced back to none other than Burak Deniz. Burak Deniz quickly became the heart robe of Pakistani girls and a huge sensation in Pakistan. This is particularly attributed to two of his most famous dramas such as “Ask Laftan Anlamaz” and “Bizim Hikaye”, also known as “Pyar Lafzon Mein Kahan” and “Hamari Kahani” respectively. In the drama serials mentioned above, he starred alongside Hande Ercel and Hazal Kaya. Burak Deniz became popular because of his roles as Murat and Baris (dubbed Basit for the Pakistani audience). Both of these drama serials took the country by storm and are currently being aired don Urdu1 and LTN Network respectively.
