The drama serial is 7th Sky Entertainment presentation, featuring a big cast including Atiqa Odho, Haroon Shahid, Kiran Haq, Arez Ahmed, Ayesha Rajput, Seemi Pashah, Ayesha Gul, Yasir Shoro, Salma Asim, Memoona Qudoos, Yasir Alam, Neha Malik, Malaika Riaz, and Ellie Zaid. The drama was directed by Ali Akbar. The writer of the drama is Sameena Aijaz. The story revolved around a selfish matchmaker Almas who was consumed by greed and ego.

Today, the last episode of the drama serial Dao was aired on Geo Entertaient. The drama was liked by the fans as a unique family entertainer with a good ending. They are of the view that the drama had a comprehensive ending but it would have been better to see Almas admitting her mistakes instead of dying alone in the end. Nabeel Qureshi has given us some of the biggest films since the revival of cinema in Pakistan and this time he is working with a very young cast.

The upcoming film is titled Na Baligh Afraad and this could follow the route of Nabeel’s old films Na Maloom Afraad 1 and 2.

The film will have Ashir Wajahat and Rimha Ahmad alongside Samar and it will be releasing on Eid ul Adha.

Tabish Hashmi is a brilliant Pakistani stand-up comedian and host. He got his initial fame through Nashpati Prime’s YouTube show To Be Honest which went viral and paved the way for him to enter the television. Tabish soon grabbed Har Pal Geo’s satire show Hansna Mana Hai which is successfully completing its third season. My elder sisters were born in India and I was born in Pakistan”

Talking about how his father got Pakistan’s nationality, he said, “at that time, it was easy to settle in Pakistan after showing investment in the form of dollars or money, my father had the money, so we got the nationality”.

Talat Hussain is a legend of Pakistan who worked not only as an actor but also gave his 100% to promote arts in Pakistan. He has a career spanning over decades and he worked in Pakistan, Hollywood and shared what he learnt with the new crop of talent in his home country. He passed away recently after a battle with dementia and his family, colleagues and fans are mourning this big loss.

Bushra Ansari is another legend of Pakistan. She started working as a child artist and later on worked with all the big names in the industry. She got the opportunity to work with Talat Hussain Sahab as a young artist and to this day she regards herself lucky that she could work alongside him.

She remembered the late stars and shared how he did not socialize much and liked to keep to himself. His loss is the industry’s loss as there are not many people like him who will give time to help youngsters with their craft.
