Senior PTV actor Anwar Ali passed away after a prolonged illness at the age of 71. He was best known for his roles in dramas such as Khudabaksh, Nishani, Andhera Ujala, Ababeel, Home Sweet Home, Comedy Theatre, Sona Chaandi, and many others. He was also a renowned stage actor who gained fame for his excellent comic timing, expressive acting, and body language. At the peak of his career, he left showbiz and devoted himself to a religious life.

Anwar Ali had been suffering from kidney disease and paralysis. He also suffered two strokes. According to his family, he was admitted to a hospital in Lahore on Sunday after his condition worsened. Despite medical efforts, he could not recover and passed away. His funeral will be offered after his daughter arrives from abroad and will be held in Model Town, Lahore.

Earlier, senior actor Nasir Chinioti had requested prayers for Anwar Ali’s health. May Allah grant him the highest ranks in the Hereafter and give patience to his children, family, and loved ones. Laughter Chef is a popular Indian cooking reality show hosted by Bharti Singh. In the show, a chef acts as a supervisor who assigns tasks to celebrity contestants participating as chefs.
