Mamya Shajaffar is a popular Pakistani television and film actress known for her hit dramas such as Meesni, Jaan Se Pyara Juni, Farrar, College Gate, and Jhok Sarkar. Mamya is all set to appear in the Eid release Luv Di Saun alongside her Jhok Sarkar co-star Farhan Saeed. She has built a large social media following in a short period of time.

Mamya Shajafar recently appeared on ARY Digital’s Eid show, hosted by Nida Yasir. During the show, she opened up about her illness.


When Nida Yasir asked, “Why did it take three years to complete Luv Di Saun?” Mamya Shajafar replied, “It took us three years because I was doing other projects as well, and then I became chronically ill. I was undergoing treatment for that. Let’s just say I was on cancer medication. It took me eight months to recover, but now, Alhamdulillah, I am fine and back at work.
