Hema Malini was born on the 16th of October 1948; she is an Indian film actress, dancer, writer, director, producer, and a politician too. She is the daughter of Jaya Lakshmi and VSR Chakravarti. Hema is known as one of the most successful actresses of old times in Hindi Cinema. She made her acting debut in 1963 by playing role in a Tamil film named Idhu Sathiyam. She acted her main role in the film Sapno Ka Saudagar in 1968 and then she starred in numerous Bollywood Films.

Most of the time she was featured opposite her husband Dharmendra and other famous actors like Rajesh Khanna and Dev Anand. Movies in which she played lead roles as a heroine with these three actors are The Burning Train, Raja Jani, Baghavat, Rajput, Dharm Aur Qanoon, Janta Hawaldar, Ginny Aur Johnny, Prem Nagar, Chhupa Rustam, Tere Mere Sapne, and Jaaneman. At the peak of her career, she was called by the name of “Dream Girl” and later she starred in the film of the same name as well.
