It is still hard to believe that The Hawahawai beauty and the legend of Bollywood is no more in the world, for sure, Sridevi’s demise has had been a shock to life. It was lately that her daughter, the very talented and beautiful Janhvi Kapoor was found remembering her mother.
Janhvi started her Bollywood career with the film Dhadak and was recently invited on a chat show where she was questioned whether Sridevi’s stardom helped her in pursuing the career, upon which she said:
“I think of it as a responsibility. My family, my mom, in particular, got so much love and appreciation from the audience. As a consequence, I have also got some of that love. I now have to work doubly hard to prove that I deserve it, on my own, also.”
She also said that she is actually not the same person as Sridevi was but offcourse, the industry both of them are associated with, demands equal efforts. Here is her reply on this:
“I don’t think it is possible, for anyone, let alone me. I am a different person from her. Our intention with our work is the same. The kind of hard work she put in, has been inculcated in me too, by DNA, and conditioning. I am not vying for stardom; I am here to do good work.”
Well played Janhvi. The actress will now be seen back to back in the movies like Roohi Afzana, Takht, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and Dostana 2.
