“It’s very rare that my children become a reason for my sadness. But today- all day I’ve spent missing my elder daughter Maryam Jaan even before she set off for her first solo trip. Never thought this would occur to me so soon, that one she’ll be gone and I’ll miss her. Maybe I’ll be sitting like this and penning my emotions..may be I’ll be looking at her childhood album. He concluded his note and said, “Dear Maryam Jaan, may you make many memories and have an amazing trip. May you come back with more adventures and knowledge. I guess it’s officially time to let you start doing things by yourself and I cannot help but think of the day when you’ll be married. Till then let’s have more father-daughter adventures, more discussions on books and poetry, more long walks and more hugs!”

Adnan Siddiqui has a been a constant on our screens since the time of Aroosa. There is no doubt that he is extremely talented and unbelievably handsome. But now, with a recent Facebook post, he has shown a fatherly side of himself.

In a poignant post directed to his three kids, Maryam, Daniya and Zayed, he tells them a lesson for childhood through his own journey. He explains that after suffering the loss of his    mother at the young age of 16, he became his own dreamer, his own performer and his own cheerleader. He tells them his love for cricket and his passion for commenting on himself.

Adnan Siddiqui wishes such a childhood for his kids, full of dreams and free play, imagination and innocence. While it’s a pity, our parks and streets are not safe enough for kids to roam freely and wander where their imagination takes them, there are still books. Books that recreate the magic of childhood, that feed creativity and imagination and that encourage the dreaminess of childhood.

So Adnan Siddiqui is a lot like all of us when it comes to parenting. We all share the same fear of losing our kids and their imaginative capabilities in throes of digital media, where other people are for following, trolling and criticising, not for collaborating and creating. We are all struggling to find that one fine balancing equation where you let your kids have the screens for catching up on this fast paced world and and take them away for catching up on the magical moments of childhood that is ever so fleeting.

As everyone is celebrating valentine’s day with their beloved ones. Actor Adnan Siddiqui shared a special message of love for his fans on valentine’s day.

He shared a video message and wished everyone. In a video message, he said,  “Happy valentine’s day to all of you. Keep loving everyone, keep loving your loved ones.”

The Mere Paas Tum Ho star advised his fans to celebrate the love each and every day. “Don’t limit this love to 14th February keep celebrating it for many years. Keep loving your parents, your brothers, your sisters, your children, your loved ones. Keep sharing love with everyone.”

Adnan Siddiqui also played a flute version of the iconic romantic song “Ek Pyar Ka Nagma Hai” which is originally sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Mukesh.

Adnan Siddiqui is an actor who has achieved a lot in his career. He has done various hit dramas, been a successful producer and he is one of the very first Pakistani stars to reach Cannes and do Hollywood projects. Adnan Siddiqui has also done a film with Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie and it was titled A Mighty Heart.

Adnan has always shared his experience working with the starlet was great and how he got selected among a huge pool of actors who came to audition for that role in Pakistan. He was a guest on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast where he talked about getting mistreated during the process while he was shooting in India.

He revaved that when he reached for the shoot, he found out that he was not given a good hotel as the crew people did not count him in a higher category of actors. Adnan Siddiqui put his foot down and said that he will leave if he is not properly provided facilities while he is staying there. That is when they rearranged everything and got him into the better hotel where the whole cast was staying.

He also revealed that he did not even have a manager to negotiate this stuff and did it all by himself. He finally got everything according to his standards and the rest was smooth sailing. Here is what he revealed:

Adnan Siddiqui says, one must be marooned on an island to not know about Ertugrul Ghazi now that he’s moved out of boring history books to the legendary Turkish series Ertugrul.

The tomb of the great Ertugrul in Sogut who can be loosely attributed as the founder of Ottoman Empire going by historical events. Ertugrul, the chieftain of Kayi tribe, the man who championed the cause of Islam, wished for a prosperous and safe state for Muslims and non-Muslims alike and whose regime was based on the tenets of justice and fair play. 

Adnan mentioned that multiple thoughts crisscrossed his mind as he took in the beauty and the simplicity of the mausoleum. He had expected a grand monument to celebrate the great Ertugrul, man of commanding authority, and a greater legacy, and here was a tomb that spoke volumes of the chief’s life but didn’t need to rely on grandiosity.

Adnan Siddiqui is a senior actor and producer who is considered one of the top stars in the country. He is also a family man and he is the father of three children. Two daughters and one son who are all teenagers have been raised by Adnan. He has seen different phases of kids and he came as a guest on Zara Noor Abbas’s show to share his experiences as a dad.

Adnan Siddiqui spoke about corporal punishment to kids. He shared that back in older times, all kids used to get a few slaps by their parents and that was a common practice. But you cannot spank or hit children of today’s age as they do not tolerate or understand it. He also shared his take on it.

Adnan Siddiqui shared that he has never hit his children. Even showing them a raised hand was enough and they would think they were hit. He added that a slap or two is okay but children should know that if they cannot tell their parents some deed, then they are in the wrong. You should be able to discuss everything with your parents. Today’s generation has become confident enough and they tell their parents their thoughts.
