Parveen Shakir was a famous Pakistani poet who passed away on 26 December 1994 in a car accident in Islamabad. She was 42 years old. Parveen Shakir was a mother of a son Syed Murad Ali. His son has recently made a debut in the entertainment industry as a producer. Syed Murad Ali is the producer of Eid release horror film Deemak starring Faysal Quraishi, Sonya Hussyn, Samina Peerzada and Bushra Ansari.

Syed Murad Ali recently appeared in Channel 365’s Eid special show Rise and Shine. In the show he revealed the famous Pakistani politician who took care of him and helped him.

Talking about it, Parveen Shakir’s son said, “There is a back story of it. My mother is Parveen Shakir and when she passed away, I was just fourteen. I had multiple challenges in my life after her death. The country took care of me well at that time. I was given scholarship by Benezir Bhutto. In Lums, my fee was waved. The entire country helped me grow. All these things helped me in my life. I always thought that our film industry needs investment. Also, my mother was related to arts, so, it was the time to payback to the entertainment industry. It needed a good investment so I decided to invest in it and horror was my favourite genre and that is why came up for it.”

Pakistani politician and former chair person of People’s Party Parliamentarians, Benezir Bhutto helped Parveen Shakir’s son when his mother passed away in a tragic car accident.

She was playing the daughter of a rich man, played by Asif Khan, and I was filming a scene in the countryside where I saw Saleem, her love interest in the film. I described the look I wanted, and she appeared wearing a skirt and stockings. I got angry because we wanted her to wear jeans. Meera left and returned a few minutes later wearing jeans and a white shirt—the exact dress code I had given her. My assistant told me she had gone to the neighbors and requested to borrow the jeans and shirt from a girl who was wearing them.”

Eid ul Adha is the second big Muslim Holiday. The auspicious occasion is celebrated to commemorate the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim AS. Love Guru is a new Pakistani romantic comedy movie, which is set to release tomorrow on Eid ul Azha 2025. The film is directed by the brilliant Nadeem Baig and written by Vasay Chaudhry. It stars Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed in the lead roles. The story revolves a self-proclaimed love guru who falls in love with a London-based architect named Sofia Khan. Love Guru is produced by ARY Films and Six Sigma Plus, with Salman Iqbal as the executive producer. The movie was shot in London and Karachi. Fans are already excited about the star-studded cast and the intriguing storyline.

Ali Zafar is the rock star of Pakistan. He is a singer, songwriter, actor and producer. He is also an artist and he has now written a heart wrenching poem for slain content creator Sana Yousaf. Ali has many powerful women in his own life and he has always spoken about his mother and wife’s influence on his thoughts and mindset.

Sana Yousaf was just a 17 year old TikToker based in Islamabad who used to make content on her social media accounts. She was targeted by a man who liked her and wanted to be with her. The young star rejected his advances and that is what the man could not take. He targeted Sana in her home and shot her which resulted in her death on the spot.

Ali Zafar has written a poem for Sana Yousaf and many other women who have fallen victim to men’s violence. He shared that his heart was heavy after he heard the news and he wanted to express the pain he felt through words. He said that the onus falls on all men and how men need to be taught kindness and empathy. The star added unless we raise our sons right, we will keep losing our daughters.
