Malala Yousaf Zai who is a 23-year-old Pakistani girl and an international figure has recently stunned the world by using the word “Bestie” for the former adult actress Mia Khalifa.

On February 21, the youngest laureate to win the noble prize took the international video-sharing website Tik Tok to share a video in which she introduced herself as a 23 years old girl belonging to Sawat, whose mother tongue is Pashto. She further added that I can speak Urdu, English, and Swahili, a language originating from the coast of East Africa, as well.

The Lebanese American former adult actress Mia Khalifa who is known for her adult films throughout the world commented on Malala’s video. She wrote: “Queen”. Malala in reply wrote: “Hey bestie”.

Till now more than 30.6 thousand people have liked the comment of Mia Khalifa whereas 23.6 thousand people have liked the comment of Malala Yousaf Zai.

‘PadMan’ is a movie based on true events that took place in India when Lakshmi; a newly wedded welder caused a stir in his East Indian village when he tried to revolutionize the manufacturing of sanitary napkins for women.

The producer of the movie and Akshay’s wife Twinkle Khanna was recently invited to Oxford University to discuss PadMan and all the taboos attached to the subject, ‘PadMan’ is the first Indian film that has become a topic of discussion at The Oxford Union. Malala Yousufzai was also present at the discussion and showed full support for the film and what it stands for.

While presenting her argument at the Oxford Union, Twinkle Khanna said,

“I hope this movie (PadMan) becomes a movement where women are no longer held back or shamed for their biological functions.”

The actor turned columnist also discussed with Nobel Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai why is it important to end the taboos around menstruation.

“My primary motivation to make a movie on menstruation was to bring awareness to a subject that so far has been tucked away in shadows and like Voldemort, is never mentioned.”

Talking about what attracted Twinkle to make Arunachalam Muruganantham’s story of revolutionising sanitary hygiene in rural India, in to a movie, Twinkle said,

“He is a man who most people would have perhaps dismissed because he was not fluent in English- but he went on from being a school dropout to an award-winning innovator.”

The film is ready to hit the box-office this January the 25th.

Malala Yousafzai’s a name that needs no introduction. The youngest Nobel Prize laureate is an activist working avidly for girl education around the world

As announced earlier in 2017, a biographical film based on the life of Malala Yousufzai, titled Gul Makai has been in the works, with Reem Sheikh playing the titular role. Although the completion of the film did take some time, Gul Makai finally has a release date and will be releasing all over on January 31st 2019.

Gul Makai is a reference to the pen name Malala used when she wrote for BBC from Swat in her teens. The film will be a Bollywood production, directed by Amjad Khan, shot in the Indian occupied region of Kashmir.

Gul Makai will also feature the late Om Puri (in his final film), Divya Dutta, Atul Kulkarni, Mukesh Rishi and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles.

In January 2019, Gul Makai received a special screening at the UN in London. The screening was attended by 450 dignitaries from around the world alongside Pakistani and Indian high commissions, British officials as well as members of the UN and IIMSAM (Intergovernmental Institution for the use of Micro-algae Spirulina Against Malnutrition).

Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai has revealed that she has an offer to study at a UK university.

She has received a conditional offer of a place to study Politics, Philosophy and Economics if she achieves three As.

The A-level student is set to study her degree at Oxford University, the Telegraph reported.

She was speaking to a conference organised by the Association of School and College Leaders and said:

“I’m studying right now. I’m in year 13, I have my A-Level exams coming and I have received a conditional offer which is three As, so I need to get the three As, that’s what my focus is right now, and I hope to continue my work and also continue my studies.”

“And I’m really thankful to you all for you support for encouraging me for my mission. That’s what makes me and keeps me so strong so thank you so much for that, and thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak.”

The Malala Fund, the charity set up by her works to secure girls’ rights to a minimum of 12 years of education.

Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai will officially receive honourary Canadian citizenship on her visit to Canada on April 12.

Malala will finally receive the Canadian citizenship bestowed upon her in 2014. The Nobel prize winner will also address the Canadian Parliament on April 12, making her the youngest to do so.

The honorary Canadian citizenship will be given to Malala, to recognize her bravery in the fight for the rights of women and girls to go to school.

I did not have anyone to guide me and I had to learn everything myself.  I was not like, you know, a TV celebrity. So like even the fame and support I got was different. It was like Malala you are an inspiration for us. So for me, it was like thank you so much for supporting me and thank you for standing up with me. And if they would ask for a picture, why not.”

“I never treat it as celebrity fame but in college, I was a bit overwhelmed with how it was going to. Later it was fine in Oxford. I am sure they have seen celebrity students before as well.”

Malala talks about how she has fun and said, “For me, fun means spending time with friends whether that’s going out to a restaurant and having lunch together or going to a movie. There are many societies in Oxford so I sometimes go to the cricket club and have played for my college.”

She also talked about the time when she used to get death threats and said, “It was announced on the FM radio by the Taliban spokesperson that from the 15th January 2009, no girl can go out and go to school. I was 11 and it was shut down on schools because they didn’t believe in women rights. For a woman not to be able to get education means that she is more vulnerable to get married early. She is more vulnerable to be a victim of domestic violence and many things. So for me, a life that way was the worst thing that you can imagine. That’s why I started speaking for my rights and for girls in Swat Valley.”

Calling it the “Decade of Youth Rising” Teen Vogue has featured the youngest Nobel Peace Prize laureate and social activist, Malala Yousafzai as their cover girl for the magazine’s last issue of the decade.

In the cover interview with the magazine, Malala recently opened up about healing from trauma, education and the new wave of youth-driven change.

Talking about the youth rising up and speaking out about the issues important to them Malala added that the new decade would be driven by youth-driven change.

Malala also talked about young female activists, Greta Thunberg and 20-year-old American anti-gun violence advocate, Emma Gonzalez, stating, “We have seen huge progress over the last few years, and now to see that young girls like Emma [González] and Greta are coming forward and they’re talking about climate change, they are talking about gun violence, and they’re talking about these different issues that are impacting all of us and especially what’s going to affect the future generations.”

“There are hundreds and thousands of women and girls in all parts of the world who are standing up. Some of them we don’t even know — their names would never be known — but they’re changing their communities,” added the youngest Nobel Prize winner.

Malala also stressed the importance of girl education stating, “When you educate girls, it adds up to $30 trillion to the world economy. It helps us protect our climate. It reduces poverty; it reduces the likelihood of wars in developing countries. So when you look at those advantages, then you say, ‘We have to invest in girls’ educations.”

I said what I had so often said before – that maybe it was possible that marriage was not for me,” Malala said.

Speaking about why she changed her mind about the concept of marriage, Malala said that after meeting Asser back in 2018, who turned out to be her best friend, she questioned herself: “But what if there was another way?” “With education, awareness and empowerment, we can start to redefine the concept of marriage and the structure of relationships, along with many other social norms and practices. Culture is made by people – and people can change it too. My conversations with my friends, mentors and my now partner Asser helped me consider how I could have a relationship, a marriage and remain true to my values of equality, fairness and integrity”, says Malala.

Malala had announced her marriage on November 9, saying that she tied the knot during a small ceremony in Birmingham. Her mother got her wedding clothes rom Lahore, Pakistan and Asser’s mother and sister gave her the jewellery she was wearing. “I put henna on my hands myself, after discovering I was the only one of my family and friends who had the talent! Asser spent several hours in the mall with me the day before the ceremony, buying his pink tie and pocket square and my sandals”, added Malala.

“We were thrilled to share this joyful surprise with everyone who cares for us and we are excited for the journey ahead”, concluded Malala.

Malala Yousafzai has gained admiration of many after gaining international acknowledgment for her campaign to promote education without gender inequality.

The feminist campaigner and youngest Nobel Prize Laureate, Malala received many birthday wishes on her twentieth birthday this twelfth of July.

Mahira Khan also wished the young girl well on her birthday and appreciated her spirit with a powerful message, asking Malala to show us the way. 

Malala, as it turned out, is also a Mahira Khan fan and praised her acting in Bin Roye;

After receiving this sweetest answer from Malala, reciprocating the love Mahira had shown her, Mahira also replied with an equally sweet concluding tweet;

Malala Yousafzai was an education activist in her hometown when she rose to international fame after Taliban made an assassination attempt on her life. She was flown to UK where she was treated and she has since then continued her work from there. Malala Yousafzai is also the youngest Nobel Laureate in the world after she received the Nobel Peace Prize. She is also the second Nobel laureate from Pakistan after Dr Abdus Salam.

Malala surprised everyone when she suddenly announced her marriage to husband Asser Malik. The couple married in a simple yet beautiful ceremony and shared the pictures on their social media.

Asser Malik since day one has been by Malala’s side and we often see the young couple visiting different places for Malala’s work. She is in Pakistan these days with her family and talked to Dawn about her life after marriage.

Malala said that she was lucky to find Asser who is a great friend to her and an amazing partner. She also said that he always makes her laugh and supports her in her projects. She added that marrying him has changed life as she is now more relaxed.

Malala Yousufzai has expressed that she hopes that the next entire PSL is held in Pakistan.

She said in a video interview:

“Today is a huge day for Pakistan cricket and I would like to thank Najam Sethi, and congratulate him for making our dream become reality, I hope the next PSL can take place completely in Pakistan.”

She also thanked the foreign players who are in Lahore for the PSL final for supporting Pakistan cricket.

She expressed herself as a fan of Peshawar Zalmi and had this to say to them:

Malala Yousafzai is a very influential figure from Pakistan. She got global recognition and even a Nobel Peace Prize after she was shot by the TTP and later flew to the UK where she now lives with her family. Malala is now married to Asswr Malik and the couple is so happy and in love. She worked on girls education and she is also in production now as she worked on different cultural aspects.

Malala Hangs out with global celebrities and she has been spotted at all the big red carpets. She recently gave support to Joyland when it was released internationally. Malala is a girl who has done it all. She’s achieved so much at this young age that many people can’t reach the feet in multiple lives. She went through a terrible attack, survived and became a symbol of courage, bravery and what todays woman should be like. She’s won a Nobel Prize, a movie has been made on her life, a book has been written. You name it, she’s had it. Recently, her father’s first book Let Her Fly came and she was spotted there at a launch.

Since it is Diwali season, how could have this young iron lady not celebrate it? Malala was seen celebrating Diwali with her friends from Oxford University. Malala looked beautiful in a traditional dress while her friends chose to wear western. Malala really enjoyed her time celebrating Diwali with her friends because the the pictures that have come out say so.

Malala has appeared on a few late night shows on American Television and the amount of confidence she she has is worth praising. We all know her someone who fought for education but there’s a side to her which is like all of us. She likes to have fun, too. She’s often seen cracking jokes and that’s what makes her personality endearing.
