Iqrar Ul Hassan was an anchor who got famous for his show Sar e Aam. He used to do sting operations against counterfeit sellers. He then started hosting shows and he remained working at ARY Network for 21 years before recently resigning. In his long career, his diction, powerful shows and his marriages remained in the news. He is now a politician as he has launched his Awam Raj Party.
A recent video from the airport has once again brought him under discussion. When Iqrar ul Hassan landed at the Lahore Airport, an FIA officer passed a comment at him that he will also have a fate like Jawad Ahmed. This infuriated Iqrar who started acting like a journalist again and not like a politician. He filmed the officer and termed him a PTI supporter as he had criticized Iqrar. The video went viral and public has largely sided with officer whose job is in danger now.
Iqrar ul Hassan has now taken to his YouTube channel and he is sharing his take on what went down behind that viral video.
According to the journalist turned politician, he does not want the officer to lose his job. He did not want to say anything further on this and he even spoke to director FIA and requested him to not suspend the officer. But fake propaganda has pushed him to release a statement. Iqrar ul Hassan said that since the officer criticized him, he is a PTI supporter and PTI supporters should stand by him. What happened to him was wrong and he has still tried his best that the man does not lose his job.
