Syed Imad Wasim Haider, commonly known as Imad Wasim, is a Pakistani cricketer. He is a left-handed all-rounder who currently captains Northern in domestic cricket and Karachi Kings in Pakistan Super League.

In August 2018, he was one of thirty-three players to be awarded a central contract for the 2018–19 season by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).In March 2019, he captained the Pakistan One Day International (ODI) team for the first time.

Wasim was born in Swansea, Wales. His father briefly worked in the UK as an engineer. Wasim’s parents moved to Pakistan when he was at a very early age, and he consequently played all first-class cricket there. He was studying medicine before his career in cricket, but quit when he got a chance to play for the under-19 Pakistan team.

In August 2019, Wasim married Saniya Ashfaq at the Shah Faisal Mosque in Islamabad.

Imad Wasim is currently leading Karachi Kings in PSL season 6 and he is also known for his dangerous hitting against the rivals. Imad Wasim got married to Sannia Ashfaq in 2019.

Pakistan’s left-handed skipper Imad Wasim is celebrating two years of his happy marriage with his wife Saniya Ashfaq. Imad Wasim took to his Instagram account to wish Saniya a very happy wedding anniversary along with an adorable photo. “To my beautiful better half, a very happy wedding anniversary. The past two years have been very special with you Alhamdulillah. Praying for an amazing life ahead,” wrote Imad.

Meanwhile, his wife Sannia Imad taking to her Instagram handle shared some beautiful pictures from their anniversary celebration. The couple was spotted celebrating their wedding anniversary in a restaurant with their family and friends, have a look!

Earlier this year, the couple had welcomed their first baby girl.

Imad Wasim and Nyla Raja got married in February 2026 after a long-term, previously hidden affair. Imad was previously married to Sannia Ashfaq, with whom he has three children—two sons and one daughter—and their marriage lasted around five years. Imad Wasim now claims that marrying Nyla Raja is the best decision of his life, while his new wife Nyla also considers marrying Imad the wisest decision of her life. However, the majority of Pakistanis are standing firmly with Sannia Ashfaq and consider both Imad and Nyla unfaithful.
