Pakistani are a talented nation. We make a lot of things and make our country proud despite very little resources available. But one such field where no one excels more than Pakistanis are memes and recreations of viral videos. No one can cross the internet humour that Pakistanis have and we can laugh on ourselves more than we laugh on others. Well, the latest sensation is a video where a girl is dancing at a mehendi function.
Though the video has nothing out of the ordinary, it ended up becoming viral as well as source of many hilarious recreations and memes. Here is the original video:
The cast of Betiyaan airing on Geo television also ended up making their own rendition of this.
Tanya Hussain and Qudsia Ali who are playing daughters danced to the tunes while Mohammad Ahmed who is playing their dad came up with a hilarious twist.
Here is Betiyaan cast with their own spin on Dil Ye Pukare Aa Ja:
Model Natasha Hussain has been a part of the entertainment industry for so long. She is very popular and people know her as a super model, a host for different events and as an actress as well. Pakistani fashion industry saw a boom around two decades ago and we made many supermodels who went on to become great name of the entertainment industry. One such name has been Natasha Hussain famously known as Natty. Natty has been a consistent part of entertainment world and also acts some times. We aw her in the blockbuster Parizaad as Lubna’s mother.
Natasha Hussain is married and a mom to two beautiful girls. Her daughter Tanya Hussain is also an actress now as we saw her daughter playing Naheed aka Ushna Shah’s sister in Parizaad and very recently in Betiyaan where she impressed the audience with her portrayal of one of the main characters.

ARY Digital has taken quite a lot of initiatives with its dramas in recent times. They have made quite a lot of dramas on social issues and are continuing with the practice. Muqabil highlighted rape and child abuse. Then it was Aisi Hai Tanhai highlighting the dark side of the Internet. Meri Guriya again gave the world goosebumps with the spectacular performance of Mohsin Abbas Haider who just owned the role and the drama showed the way these predators are living in our society. Another drama that will show Sohai Ali Abro as an acid attack survivor is in the pipeline and now we have Beti that will show the hatred women get on the birth of a daughter. Saheefa Jabbar Khattak, Asma Abbas and Zainab Ahmed are playing the main roles in the drama and the teasers are intense as well as sad. Pakistani dramas have evolved in many ways through the years. Nowadays, writers have more pressure than ever to pen down scripts that attract the general public. In doing so, very often, the writers tend to stick to certain stereotypes which are often the trademark of all commercial dramas. Thankfully, there are still certain writers who believe in thinking out of the box. These writers have given us a few male leading characters who have redefined the term “hero”. These male leads are unlike any other because they do not fit the ‘box’ in which most producers and writers think Heroes fit best!
Experimentation alone is not enough; many writers have failed to breathe life into characters because they were not penned down convincingly. Characterizations play a major role in making the viewers wholeheartedly accept male leads who are refreshingly different. Also, the actors playing these roles should be true to their craft. Casting definitely plays as big a role as the script therefore these male leads were impressive and memorable because the actors chosen to play the roles performed brilliantly.
Here is a list of those impressive male leads from Pakistani dramas that were unconventional:
Bhola – Ranjha Ranjha Kardi
Ranjha Ranjha Kardi had an unusual and intriguing storyline. It was penned down by Faiza Iftikhar. Its main protagonist Bhola set a new precedent by winning over the viewers completely. Bhola has to be the most memorable character we have seen in Pakistani dramas lately even though he was anything but run-of-the-mill. Bhola made the viewers laugh and cry at the same time. His dialogues and even his antics literally went viral. Bhola represented those people who are often sidelined in society and even our dramas. This character gave such people a face and a personality. It changed the way people look at people with developmental delays and other such issues. The viewers were completely invested in Bhola’s journey and it gave Imran Ashraf more recognition than ever before.
It won’t be wrong to say that Bhola started a new trend in Pakistani dramas of introducing male leads who were unlike the ones which the audience was so used to seeing in dramas. However, Bhola was definitely one-of-a-kind since very few characters got the love and attention he got.
Parizaad – Parizaad
Parizaad is one of the most appreciated dramas at the moment. The writer Hashim Nadeem has given us some of the most memorable male leads in the past as well therefore it does not come as a surprise that his new male lead in this drama serial has already won the viewers over within a few weeks! Parizaad is a young man whose outward appearance does not match his name. In a time when good looks are major criteria for a male lead, Parizaad stands out not only because of his looks which do not fit in the hero criteria but also because of his personality. He has been shown as someone who has faced constant rejection and is a sensitive person who registered everything he ever went through.
Parizaad’s personality and his journey have the viewers completely hooked. The situations this character has been through and his dialogues which represent his state of mind make this character one that is refreshing and touching at the same time. Through this character, the writer has also questioned many social norms in an intelligent manner. Ahmed Ali Akbar’s outstanding performance has definitely given this character the edge it needed to truly stand out. This unusual hero has won the viewers over just as Bhola did. Very few characters get the kind of attention and love which this one has been getting right from the start.
Abdullah – Pyar Ke Sadqay
Pyar Ke Sadqay was another blockbuster that told the story of individuals who are usually not the leading characters in dramas. The script was penned down by Zanjabeel Asim Shah and her main male lead Abdullah was definitely an unconventional one! Abdullah was the kind of young man we rarely see in Pakistani dramas. His character also served a bigger purpose. It also represented so many such young men who do not get representation in dramas as leads often. It won’t be wrong to say that Ranjha Ranjha Kardi’s popularity gave producers an incentive to show such stories.
Abdullah was introduced as a child who never got the love and attention of his parents. He was verbally and physically abused by his step-father and as a result of that, he ended up growing into a confused adult. Even with all his ‘shortcomings’, Abdullah had the most interesting personality. His character was well-etched-out and the viewers couldn’t help but feel for him. Abdullah’s sensitive and caring nature was also often shown through different scenes. He was an unconventional male lead who made the viewers fall in love with him. Towards the end, Abdullah did test the patience of the viewers but overall he is among the top unconventional male leads who kept the audience glued to their television screens. Bilal Abbas’ superb performance throughout made this character truly unforgettable.
Asfand – Baba Jani
Baba Jani was Faysal Qureshi’s debut production and it was so refreshing to see him picking a new and different topic for this project. Baba Jani’s script was penned down by Faiza Iftikhar and Faysal Qureshi chose to play the leading character that represented men in a completely different light. The way Asfand juggled all his relationships, married a widow although he had the option of marrying her daughter and loved that daughter as his own made him an unconventional hero. Mostly the term hero is reserved for actors and characters of a younger age group, Baba Jani broke free from this stereotype.
Asfand was such a wonderful break from all those males who marry women half their age and fall for lies told to them. He made one mistake and after that, he made sure that he didn’t make any other. Faysal Qureshi translated this character decently on screen, he made sure that the viewers understood and loved Asfand. Asfand had so many characteristics that made him a likable male lead; he was intelligent, sensitive, caring, and graceful. We rarely get to see such main leads in Pakistani dramas. He loved his family and chose to ignore their flaws but he was not naive.
Sameer – Ishq Zah-e-Naseeb
Ishq Zah-e-Naseeb was yet another drama penned down by the exceptionally talented Hashim Nadeem who gave us yet another unconventional and well-written male lead. Sameer was a man who lived two completely different lives. To the world, he was an accomplished businessman with certain principles and while was alone at night, he turned into another person who was a product of certain things Sameer had experienced in his life. Zahid Ahmed stepped out of his comfort zone and played this unconventional character flawlessly. His physical transformation took the viewers completely by surprise. Sameer’s character and its journey were written down so beautifully that the viewers found themselves looking forward to more of this unconventional male lead every week.
Aman Ullah – Yeh Dil Mera
Yeh Dil Mera was not the most logical drama in certain ways but it did give the viewers a male lead that had so much going for it. This drama was penned down by Farhat Ishtiaq, who makes sure that his male characters have enough substance. Aman Ullah was one such character who had seen his parents getting murdered first hand and he made it his mission in life to take revenge. His entire life and existence rested on this single tragedy. This character showed how traumatic experiences shape up people’s personalities and affect their mental well-being. Even though Aman Ullah wasn’t always a likable character, he was always a meaningful character that made the viewers guessing. Ahad Raza Mir’s outstanding performance helped the viewers understand this character and made it more engaging.
Moosa – Raqs-e-Bismil
Raqs-e-Bismil is another drama penned down by Hashim Nadeem which gave the Pakistani viewers a chance to watch a hero who was unconventional yet extremely likable. This drama’s main male lead, Moosa could easily pass as the most unusual leading man in Pakistani dramas. He was a flawed character but his definite appeal makes him the top candidate for this list. This character had been penned down convincingly throughout. The writer showed the uncultured, emotional, impulsive, and rigid side of Moosa in the first few episodes. Once he fell in love and found out the truth about Zohra his character development started. Gradually, Moosa learned so much which he never thought he would have to learn, ever!
Just like many other heroes penned down by Hashim Nadeem, his journey continued to be the most engaging element of the drama throughout. This character had the viewers’ undivided attention because Moosa’s strengths and weaknesses had been penned down beautifully by the writer. The fact that Imran Ashraf owned this character throughout and never hesitated to translate different shades of his personality on screen made all the difference. The success of the drama rested largely on this character.
Faris – Tau Dil Ka Kya Hua
Tau Dil Ka Kya Hua’s script was penned down by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar therefore it does not come as a surprise that there was also a male lead in the drama that was unconventional. Faris was not a black or white character. Faris’ dialogues and his internal struggles made his character both intriguing and appealing. His philosophy regarding love and the desperate need for closure made him a memorable and unusual character without whom this list will be incomplete. A man who could not make himself hate his ex-wife even though outwardly he kept on telling people that he was over her, Faris’ heartbreak and the lies he told himself and others kept the viewers guessing and wanting more. He often confused the viewers as well but Sami Khan made sure that he translated this character on-screen in such a way that everything Faris did had the viewers’ undivided attention.
Danish – Mere Pass Tum Ho
Mere Pass Tum Ho told a story that was a rarity for Pakistani drama viewers. Most Pakistani dramas show the plight of women, this one showed the plight of a man whose wife, the love of his life, broke his heart. Through this character, the writer Khalil-ur-Rehman showed how heartbreak affects a person who had trusted someone with their eyes closed. Danish’s world revolved around his wife Mehwish, when she betrayed and left him, he did whatever he could to get over her and eventually ended up being a really strong individual. Although Danish had more courage to face the world and take risks after Mehwish left, he never got over her. He remained madly in love with her right till the end but also could not take her back.
Danish died of heartbreak and left a lasting impression on the viewers. He was a male lead whose vulnerabilities became his strength. Humayun Saeed had to showcase the pain of a husband who got betrayed by his wife and also the only woman he loved with all his heart. He did complete justice to the character, making it memorable.
Every year brings a whole new era of style, dressing and grooming. Some of them are carried over from the previous year but as months pass, the trends evolve into better and more modern versions of their previous selves. However, some are entirely new and chance happenings that looks cool enough to become the hip thing and everyone tries to follow suit. Celebrities are usually the first people to adopt all the new trends of the season and since public can see them all over the electronic and print media and ofcourse, social platforms of today, their styles are followed by many. 2017 has brought some extremely versatile and beautiful modern trends, a lot of which look good enough to stay through the next year as well. Let’s take a look at them;
Tassle Earrings
Tassle earrings have taken over the world of artificial jewellery by a storm this year. Everyone was seen sporting them and they look really good with all types of casual and semi formal wear. Many jewellery designers have incorporated them into their latest ranges and you can find them easily from small shops to big brands and pair them up with a cool kurta shalwar or casual top and jeans .
Backapacks
Backapacks have taken a big modern twist these year and almost everyone now has one in their accessories’ collection, and for good reason. Why would you want to weigh down your arms and shoulders with heavy saddle and bucket bags when you can go easy on yourself. They distribute the weight evenly and leave you hands free and are much easier to navigate than your usual shoulder bag. A win win in our opinion.
No Make-up Makeup
Perhaps the most refreshing trend this year has been the look of less makeup. Gone are the days when you would see actresses piled high with colour on their face, doing the dishes or going through a traumatic experience with fully made up face. Now is the time to look nude and fresh, basic and soft and let your skin show. Not only has the world of dramas taken up this trend but celebrity guests on morning shows and on their social media accounts also appear bare faced, with the appropriate touch ups where necessary. The trick is to make up your face in a way that it looks like skin, albeit a dewy glowing one.
Formals In White
The color of peace was seen this year designed, cut and sewn into glamorous formal attires, and they looked absolutely gorgeous. It is amazing how many hues this colour has and how it can be decorated into party and bridal wear. If you add the right accessories, then you can add a beautiful splash of colour and if you sport it with a red lippy, you will be the queen of the party in no time.
TintedShades
Sunglasses are always the best accessory to look put together in an instant, no matter how rough a day you are having. This year, along with a hundred different shapes, the shades also took a hundred different hues, and they looked really cool in the very long and hot summer days.
HDBROWS
The case of strong sharply defined brows is going strong and there’s nothing that can give your face such a youthful lift as sharply defined full brows. They have become an essential part of makeup now and nobody gets fully ready without lining, brushing, filling and defining the brows.
Cool Spectacles
Gone are the days when you had to hide your glasses and act as if you don’t wear any. It’s time to be trendy and hip and don your spectacles proudly. A lot of extremely stylish people are now seen with eye wear while out and about in the public and they look less of a problem and more of an accessory now, especially when you are in the mood of sporting a casual outfit.
Waves And Texture In The Hair
Thankfully, time to be dead straight with your hair has gone and now it’s all about thick wavy luscious locks, heavy in texture. Big blowdrys and loose curls have been the rage this year. So have highlights and lowlights and multi shaded colours. In general, hair have gotten a lot dressier and it’s much more trendy to experiment with them and give them life and bounce. Be sure to tame the friz though. That is still a no no.
CrossbodyBags
2017 has been all about finding style in your comfort, rather than the other way round. So another evolution seen in bags has been the appearance of cross body ones, which again leave you hand free and easy to drive, play, shop and dance, should you wish to. All the big designer have gotten into this as well and such bags are available for every budget in Pakistan and abroad.
RevampingTheShalwarKameez
The most beautiful trend of this year has to be the revamping of our national dress. Nothing looked more beautiful than the embroidered kurtas and embellished kameez in pastels and earthy tones. Accompnying them have been pants of all kinds, from capris to tulip shalwars to bell bottoms to flapper types bottoms, there has been an influx of kurta clad girls in all genres of life, since there are so many ways to make it look cool and pleasing to the eye, while appearing modern and trendy at the same time.
ShortFrock
Another beautiful trend of the season is short frock with bell bottoms or shararas. The pair look absolutely stunning if worn on a narrow waist. It has been the most seen look in formal wear these days in parties and weddings.
These are the styles that we think made 2017 more aesthetically pleasing and inspiring. Let us know in the comments if you updated your looks with any of these year.

The iconic London buses have always been the hallmark of one of the most metropolitan cities in the world. They have evolved over time but their traditional double decker look and feel remains the same.
This time, however, they are the coolest sights ever. The beautiful beasts are roaming around Central London with promotional images of Pakistan on them.
They are decorated this way in order to promote Pakistan as a tourist destination as part of the initiative taken by Pakistan High Commission in London for celebrating 70 long years of independence, which this 14th of August will mark.
Don’t tell me you have not fallen in love all over again with Pakistan on seeing these images;

First of all, I am writing this piece just to share my experience about the certain series that I came across on the internet. This is by no means intended to hurt anyone or impose my beliefs on, nor I am writing it to judge anyone or their choices. I am always prone to learning & I love researching about things that interest me. So, here’s my list of a few series that I watched – not for the sake of entertainment but to actually understand things better.
The Arrivals:
I got to watch this 50 episodes based documentary in 2009. It was produced by Egyptian students Noreagaaa & Achenahr who took this as a project & tried to unveil the secret societies that aren’t so secret. We are indeed surrounded by people who are working in order to please whom they worship. The Arrivals, as the name suggests spoke about the arrival of the false messiah, the antichrist Dajjal & also about the most anticipated arrival of Imam Mahdi (Alayhe Salam) & Prophet Essa (Alayhe Salam). I must say the information they shared in each one of the 10-minute episode was eye-opening. All our lives, being Muslims Allhamdullilah we have heard about the ‘fitnah of Dajjal’ & about the ‘one-eyed Dajjal’ but to actually understand how things rolled & who worshipped him, this series helped me a lot. Their planning doesn’t date back to some years or decade, but it dates back to the time when Pharaohs ruled the world. The main secret societies or rather cults that were exposed are Illuminati & Freemasons.
Illuminati & Freemasonry dates back to the time before Islam. They have always communicated to each other through symbols & certain shapes – clearly their favorite is the triangle or in fact Pyramid would be the appropriate term for it. I never thought I would ever see their symbolism because I thought they were discreet but I was sadly mistaken & fortunately awaken to actually see how we have been surrounded by their agendas throughout our lives. Media is their best chosen mode of communication. Hollywood & it’s celebrities are another one of their stooges which promote what they want them to. It was upsetting to see Disney being involved in conveying the subliminal messages as well in all the cartoons too.
There are certainly a few symbolisms that they use which are a hand gesture that depict Satan, one-eye or rather all-seeing eye, pyramids in each one of their movies or videos in the background, 5 pointed star of David or pentagram, skull & bones, lightning bolt, black & white checkered patterns, numbers 3, 33, 13, 31, hand gesture of number 666 & also America’s helpline number 911 has a significant meaning to them.
I am glad I got a chance to come across this documentary because it always made sense & what I loved the most about it that they didn’t speak about anything without proofs. The didn’t speak about the conspiracy theories in fact they added weight to their research by exposing people with the help of those who are working or have worked for their agenda. The whole series was filled with different interviews, different images that made it easy to understand where they were coming from. Illuminati’s main agenda is to form a One World Government known as New World Order (NWO) which is free of all the religions (Astaghfirullah) & to have people surrendering to their king i-e Dajjal. The series are uploaded on YouTube & also can be downloaded through the torrents. Those who really want to understand & are in search for the truth, I humbly recommend these series to them.
Brasstacks – Economic Terrorism by Zaid Hamid:
I know Zaid Hamid has been in a limelight for certain controversies but I am speaking about his documentary only in which he spoke exactly on the lines of The Arrivals. For me brasstacks was an Urdu version of The Arrivals which was made to convey the message to the people of Pakistan about what was happening around. I appreciate Zaid Hamid’s efforts because he not only spoke about Illuminati & Freemasonry but also about the economic conditions of the world. He made a lot more sense & what appealed to me was the way he started resting the facts from such a grassroot level to make it easier for the people to understand.
This the by far THE BEST series I have watched ever in my life. It is an Iranian series based on total 45 episodes each of 40 minutes duration, that showcased the life of Prophet Yousuf (Alayhe Salam) in such a detail. Produced in 2008 & acted by the Iranis, the actual series is in Persian but it has been dubbed in Urdu for Pakistani audience as well. I feel the way they have actually showcased the life of Nabi Yousuf (Alayhe Salam) is commendable. Nothing controversial & nothing to put anyone’s beliefs to question, the way they have picturized it, it shows the chronological events that have been discussed in The Chapter # 12 of Holy Qur’an – Surah Yousuf. For me it was an amazing experience to have watched it because the simplicity with which they have portrayed the life & the hardships that our beloved Prophet had to endure, it just gives a breathing to our Imaan & we are left with the feeling of starting afresh. I absolutely loved the series & recommend it to everyone. The series is uploaded on both YouTube & Dailymotion with the title – ‘Hazrat Yousuf (Alayhe Salam)’.
Once again, my only intention was to share something interesting that I have come across till now in my life. These series have left a greater impact on me & I just wanted to share what I have experienced. If you have ever seen a series worth mentioning, please share your choices & if you have seen any of the three that I have spoken of, feel free to pour in your say about them too! :)
Pakistani dramas have always been popular because of how close they are to reality and portray such scenarios that strike a chord with the viewers. The scenarios and situations presented in Pakistani dramas are such that each and every viewer at times finds it very easy to relate to what is being shown and they often see their life story or similar experiences that they have had being elaborated in dramas. This aspect has been of utmost importance in Pakistani dramas where the talented writers and drama makers bring the touch of reality in every drama and don’t show any such scenarios which are not a depiction of what actually people go through.
The story of every drama is elaborated with the help of scenes and scenarios, this is how the story is carried forward and shows the skill-set of the drama makers. The factors that make any scene work are emotions that they evoke in the viewers, good dialogues, the entire setting, and also the build-up towards the turning point of the story. In recent dramas, Pakistani drama viewers and fans have come across some of the best scenes which were engaging and became unforgettable due to the way they were executed.
Let’s take a look at the best scenes from Pakistani Dramas of 2020:
[lwptoc]
Danish Lets Mehwish Go – Mere Pass Tum Ho
The controversial, much-talked-about and most importantly unforgettable scene from the 12th episode of Mere Pass Tum Ho that went viral instantly deserves a top slop on this list. There were so many things that contributed to making this scene one which even today is one of the most iconic scenes if taken in the right context. In episode 11 when Mehwish finally makes up her mind that she wants to leave Danish, he asks Shehwar to pick her up after giving her a divorce. Shehwar had earlier offered Danish 50 million rupees for leaving Mehwish. Danish refused to take the money and before bidding farewell to Mehwish, he expressed his anger by telling Shehwar that Mehwish was not worth 50 million rupees. Those people who agreed with the notion and felt for Danish loved this scene. Others who thought that this dialogue was insulting and in bad taste, criticized it. For the longest time, people shared their views about this scene and there were others who made memes to express their opinions. Surely, even those people who did not watch Mere Pass Tum Ho must be fully acquainted with this scene/dialogue if not the context. The superb direction, acting, background score, and timing of this scene added to its effectiveness.
Danish and Shehwar’s Meeting – Mere Pass Tum Ho
Danish and Shehwar’s meeting in episode 11 was the most emotional scene of Mere Pass Tum Ho. Shehwar had Mehwish’s permission to do whatever it took to convince Danish to leave her. Shehwar showed Danish the pictures which were taken in the hotel room when Shehwar and Mehwish were there together. Even though Danish was highly disturbed by seeing these pictures but he continued making excuses for his wife. This explanation he gave showed how far he was willing to go in order to save his marriage. These dialogues were penned down beautifully and Humayun Saeed’s expressions in this scene were superb. Right till the end Danish blamed Shehwar because he couldn’t even picture Mehwish not being a part of his life. This scene made the viewers cry since even after Mehwish and Shehwar’s efforts to break this marriage, Danish wanted to save it.
Dua and Saad Together Again – Ehd-e-Wafa
Drama serial Ehd-e-Wafa had so many emotional and well-put-together scenes that it was really difficult to shortlist only two scenes from the drama. It was a meaningful drama that had so many positive messages. This scene in which Saad and Dua meet after being separated for so many years was surely the best. The progressive approach of the writer reflected from the conversation Saad and Dua had when she went to see him off. All the other moments that they spent together made the viewers root for this on-screen couple.
Shehryar and Firdous Sahib’s Meeting – Ehd-e-Wafa
Shehryar’s track was always one of the most endearing elements of Ehd-e-Wafa. This scene in episode 21 in which Firdous Sahib meets Shehryar by chance not knowing who is was one which made the viewers cry. The brilliant performances by the actors involved and the entire situation was so impactful that the viewers couldn’t stop talking about it. This is definitely the kind of scene that can be watched over and over again.
Sameer Channeling Out His Complexes Through Sameera – Ishq Zahe Naseeb
Ishq Zahe Naseeb was a product of intelligent writing, good direction and phenomenal acting however there were a few moments throughout the drama that left an impact. This particular scene made it very clear that the character of Sameer, played by Zahid Ahmed, who carried a facade of a tough and sorted man had so many fears and complexes are hidden inside of him. Sameer always used Sameera to channel out his feelings and gives words to all those emotions when he felt miserable, lonely, and unworthy. This scene was so impactful because of Zahid Ahmed’s phenomenal performance and he just did not allow the audience to look away from their TV scenes. Yumna Zaidi also intelligently played along and also played her part really well in making this conversation impactful.
Seven Calligraphies of Abdul Ala & Their Meaning – Alif
Drama serial Alif was a brilliantly directed drama. It had a lot of beautiful messages which were conveyed through a series of meaningful scenes. Every scene of the drama serial Alif was crafted and designed beautifully, therefore it struck a chord. Out of so many impactful and special scenes, one that stood out was the message that Abdul Ala wanted to convey to his grandson Qalb e Momin. On different and important occasions of his life, Abdul Ala gifted Momin 7 calligraphies. This was Abdul Ala’s subtle way of reminding Momin of Allah’s message every step of the way because he understood what Momin was going to get into and that he will always need these reminders that will help him on his path of spirituality and self-discovery.
Qalb e Momin Falling in Love With Momina Sultan – Alif
Qalb e Momin and Momina Sultan’s relationship had a rocky start and there was a time when they both couldn’t stand each other. However, when they get to work together, they develop a newfound love and respect for each other. One of these beautiful scenes depicts Qalb e Momin’s growing feelings for Momina, where despite being upset, he could only think of her and imagine Momina being around him. This entire imaginative scene was shot beautifully and the soundtrack made it more special.
Abdullah and Mahjabeen’s Nikkah – Pyar Ke Sadqay
Pyar Ke Sadqay was a complete package since it was one of those few dramas that made the viewers laugh and cry at the same time. The strongest element of the drama was how logically some of the most important turns in the story were covered. We all knew that Abdullah and Mahjabeen were destined to be together but the big question was that how were they going to end up with each other eventually. The writer did an outstanding job of setting the grounds for their union and ultimately the way Abdullah decided to enter into a nikkah with Mahjabeen made for one of the most emotional scenes. Mahjabeen’s innocence and the way Abdullah played the ‘hero’ although his intentions were not the best, made this scene one which will be remembered for a long time. Just like all the other impressive scenes on this list, this one wouldn’t have been so great had it not been for the brilliant execution of a well-written scene. The way the flashback scene was integrated into this scene to make the viewers understand why Abdullah decided to take this step, made this scene complete. This was the start of a journey with many ups and downs.
Abdullah and Mahjabeen team Up – Pyar Ke Sadqay
The viewers watched Sarwar have his own way and belittle Abdullah and Mahjabeen repeatedly in Pyar Ke Sadqay. They waited for Abdullah to stand up for himself and for Mahjabeen yet he never had the courage to do so. It was in the last episode when finally he spontaneously hit Sarwar specifically for pushing Mahjabeen away. Mahjabeen was always shown as a fierce young woman who wanted Abdullah’s help in order to give Sarwar this much-needed reality check therefore even when Abdullah was shocked and confused with his reaction, Mahjabeen decided to step in to support him and that is when these two showed that when someone decides to stand up for themselves, things take a different turn almost immediately! Those bewildered expressions on Sarwar’s face were priceless and worth the wait!
The Confrontation Between Meer Farooq Zaman & Humera – Ye Dil Mera
This was one of the most unforgettable scenes of Ye Dil Mera because of the impact it made and the way it was shot. The display of acting in this scene by Adnan Siddique and Zarnish Khan left the viewers speechless because it showed just how far Meer Farooq Zaman could go and everything that was wrong with him that made Humera reject his proposal in the first place. The rejection in the past followed by another refusal in the present made Meer Farooq Zaman cross all the limits and although he went to plead his case, he pushed Humera to detest him even more. This scene between Humera and Meer Farooq Zaman was nail-biting and Zarnish Khan outdid herself.
Amaan Telling The Truth To Noor ul Ain – Ye Dil Mera
Despite the directional flaws and continuity issues, the fact remains that both Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Aly gave phenomenal performances in Ye Dil Mera. The story had all the elements to grab the attention of the viewers and this was one such scene that everyone waited for so long. This was the moment when Amaan confesses everything to Ana and let’s her know that her father was the killer of his family. The performances, dialogues, emotions portrayed in this scene make it one of the best from the drama. both Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Aly have given phenomenal performances in this drama. The ambiance created in this scene was another tick to make this scene one of the best from the drama.
The Deal Between Ramsha & Hatim’s Mother – Dushman e Jaan
Ramsha’s character in Dushman e Jaan was a breath of fresh air. She was head-strong and opinionated but what set her apart was her sense of distinguishing between right and wrong. This is why she found herself in such an awkward position where although she came to make a deal with Hatim’s mother for a handsome amount of money which again she wanted for her family, she could not find herself stooping so low. This was one of the best moments of Dushman e Jaan where instead of making a deal, then and there, Ramsha not only reminded herself about the wrong she was about to commit and instead she made things right by promising Hatim’s mother to help her get close to her son. The dialogues in this scene were written beautifully, it showed how two women were sincerely promising to help one another.
Hatim’s Regret – Dushman e Jaan
This was not the first time when Mohib Mirza played a negative role but in Dushman e Jaan he impressed the viewers to no end. He embraced the character of Hatim to the T and did justice to all the shades of his personality. Hatim was a disturbed lonely child who came from a dysfunctional family, therefore he harbored a lot of inner demons that he had to fight with himself all the time. He was guilty of seeing things from his perspective and not giving Ramsha a chance, therefore what happened to her had a lot to do with the wrong decision he took in the spur of the moment. The regret, pain, and anguish of Hatim were phenomenally conveyed by Mohib Mirza, making it one of the best scenes of Dushman e Jaan.
Sultan Durrani & Nageen’s Confrontation – Deewangi
Although the story of the drama serial Deewangi was quite typical and the kind that has been seen before quite a few times, the fact that Danish Taimoor played the role of Sultan Durrani to perfection made it quite an interesting watch. Sultan Durrani was a villain in the story but it was only because of Danish Taimoor that he made it fun to watch his antics and it was pretty obvious that he was not going to have a good end. In this scene from the last episode, it can be seen how many shades Sultan Durrani’s personality had. He was madly in love with Nageen but also held her responsible for ruining his life, he just couldn’t really make up his mind and despite wanted to protect her, he wanted to take everything away from her. Danish Taimoor’s phenomenal acting made it one of the best scenes of the entire drama.
Kashf’s Death – Kashf
The drama serial Kashf has had many meaningful scenes to its credit. It was a well-directed drama with a story that was told perfectly, however, this was the crux of Kashf’s journey, and the way it was showcased left the viewer’s teary-eyed. Kashf passes away while bowing down to her Creator and on the other hand, her ex-husband Junaid, who loved her more than anyone else is seen losing his sanity. This entire sequence was heart-wrenching and impactful, making it one of the best scenes seen this year and probably the most meaningful ending any drama has gotten in recent times.
Maheen’s Feelings For Omar – Bandhay Ek Dor Se
Bandhay Ek Dor Se is a drama based on the importance and value of relationships in one’s life. In this drama, two cousins, Maheen and Omar are made to tie the knot because, at the day of Maheen’s wedding, her in-laws-to-be call it off, and then Omar’s family tries to save the day. So far, it wasn’t really made clear as to how Maheen felt for Omar because they both were best of friends. However, during this scene, it was made obvious that Maheen had feelings for her and she liked the idea of being married to her best friend Omar. This scene was a depiction of Maheen’s imagination where she was totally in love with Omar and looked forward to sharing these special moments. It was a well-directed and acted scene. The chemistry of Ahsan Khan and Ushna Shah was superb and the soundtrack echoing in the background along with the special lighting made it a very nice scene to witness.
Meaningful Last Scene – Ruswai
Ruswai went off track for a while but it will always be remembered as a drama that gave the most meaningful ending to a story that has been covered in dramas multiple times. Sameera decided to reopen her case in the end and her rapists were punished through the court. Just when the viewers thought that they had seen the best part of this last episode, Mukhtaran Mai made a guest appearance in the last scene giving Sameera her blessings and appreciating her efforts. Anyone who is acquainted with Mukhtaran Mai’s story of courage would agree that this was such a beautiful way of giving hope and courage to all the rape victims. This last episode ended with even more powerful words that would inspire many to stand up for their rights.
Guddi and Adam’s First Meeting – Mushk
Mushk is another drama serial that has so many scenes that leave an impact. Guddi and Adam’s first meeting was one such scene. A lot of screen time was dedicated to this first meeting therefore it had so many moments and dialogues that were simply the best. Through this scene, the writer revealed the different personality traits of both these characters. The dialogues were crisp and meaningful. Imran Ashraf and Urwa Hocane’s mind-blowing performances and the artistic backdrop added to the beauty of these scenes. It won’t be wrong to say that there wasn’t a single dull moment when these two leading characters met, it was worth the wait!

The second episode of Sadqay Tumhare gave the viewers an insight into Khalil’s character. This scene was the best in the entire episode for many reasons. The director got many messages across to the viewers through this one scene. Firstly, Shano has no idea before this that her mother was against her engagement or did not like Khalil. Shano’s expressions are playful when her mother asks why she is cooking makai ki roti at this time of the night which means that she thinks her mother will have no problem when she finds out that she is doing all this for Khalil but when her mother’s tone changes so do the expressions on Shano’s face. Shano wants to stay there and do what she is doing for Khalil but her mother does not give her a chance to even understand what is going on. This realization hits Shano hard but later on she covers up for her mother and also makes the much awaited roti for her Khalil! The typical Punjabi wedding songs in the background gave a very good effect.
What do other people think about this scene? Did you like any other scene from Sadqay Tumhare’s second episode?
Mushk is Imran Ashraf’s second venture as a writer and he has already impressed the viewers and the critics with his writing style. There are few writers in the Pakistani drama industry who like to experiment and Imran Ashraf it seems has also joined their league. He is already well recognized as an actor who is continuously taking up challenging roles and as someone who has struggled a lot to get where he is today. Mushk was welcomed by the viewers initially because of its old feel and a different storyline. As the story moved forward, the element of intrigue, powerful dialogues and the variations in characterization attracted the viewers even more. In these 7 weeks Mushk has left an impact on the viewers. The credit for this also goes to the director Ahson Talish and particularly some of the actors whose acting prowess has breathed life into their characters. Some of the scenes and dialogues from this drama have been so meaningful that after every episode the viewers discuss them more than the storyline itself. The unpredictability of the story also adds more appeal to the drama.
Here are some of the most powerful scenes and dialogues from drama serial Mushk.
Gratitude Explained
The first few scenes of Mushk prepared the viewers for the journey by incorporating an element of spirituality in the theme. Through so many such short and to the point dialogues, Imran Ashraf gave his viewers some much-needed life lessons. Qavi Khan sahib’s vitality in this scene makes the message even more effective. Gratitude is all about valuing every little thing and through this scene the viewers learn the importance of gratitude from someone who appears to be a layman but has so much wisdom to impart. Qadar karo is a message that would resonate with all those who are grateful and also those who are not!
Having Faith in Allah
There are so many Pakistani dramas which showed attempted suicides by the leading ladies and men. It is a trend that is getting more common in our dramas with every passing day. No one in these dramas ever talks about suicide from a religious perspective. There is no such hint even in most of these dramas. In this scene when Mehak was narrating her sad story to Guddi, the timing of the Azaan and the reason why Mehak did not take her life made this scene one of the best. For the first time someone actually in a subtle way put forward the message that having faith in Allah’s plan and relying on him is always better than taking things in your own hands.
The Unusual yet Emotional Bond
The strong bond between Shayan and the person he is being held captive with was highlighted impeccably through this scene. When Shayan returns to the cell after getting caught while trying to escape, his fellow captive’s true feelings were reflected through these soulful dialogues. Through this scene more than ever before, the viewers found out how these two prisoners had come close to each other in the most unusual circumstances. When Shayan ran away it wasn’t just a happy moment for him but also for this person who had nothing to gain from it. Such friendship is rarely seen in dramas therefore this emotional bond is one of the many best aspects of Mushk.
Beautiful Thoughts
When Guddi was kicked out of the haveli by Zulekha, she went to the train station long before the train was there. That is when she met the porter and once again through this old man, the writer gave another important message to his viewers. He said something really simple while extending help to Guddi but this simple gesture was also so meaningful. Through his words he once again put across the most beautiful message that even when we help another person we should be thankful for being the chosen ones. These are such small things which usually are not mentioned in simple conversations but when they are said, they leave a lasting impression. These are definitely the kind of dialogues which make you reflect upon the simple everyday actions and help you look at them from a completely different perspective.
Guddi and Adam’s First Meeting
A lot of screen time was dedicated to this first meeting therefore it had so many moments and dialogues which were simply the best. Through this scene, the writer revealed different personality traits of both these characters.
The Power of Gratitude
This was another scene in which Qavi sahib’s character explained gratitude and how much Allah loves it in this simple scene. His excitement and energy is contagious in every scene. Although he is a side character but every time he appears on screen he leaves an unforgettable message. This is a man who does not take anything for granted, not even everyday thing like the arrival of passengers and train on the station.
Mehak’s Union with Her Son
This was a really short scene but the events that led to it made it the best. Momal Sheikh and Urwa Hocane’s acting made it realistic and impactful as well. The viewers had no way of knowing whether Mehak would meet her son again or not therefore this union was a happy ending to a tragic turn in the story. Guddi’s expressions suggested she was still as stubborn and uninterested as ever. Mehak’s eagerness to hold her son and cuddle him made this scene the best.
A Painful Discovery
Every character in drama serial Mushk has a proper background and each one of them have stories of their own. Muqaddar Khan’s wife found out about her husband’s captives totally unexpectedly. Little did she know that her husband had lied to get married to her. Watching the man she had loved so deeply suffer because he loved her was a painful discovery. Instead of making this revelation one sided, the writer showed that both of them figured out what Muqaddar Khan had done instantly. This scene was directed exceptionally well, the camerawork was impressive and the performances too were perfect.
Guddi Decides To Stay
Zulekha gave Guddi the permission to come back to the haveli so that she could make her life hell but in an interesting twist of events, it was Guddi who decided she won’t leave until she destroys Zulekha completely. This was an important development which was covered so convincingly. This was also good news for all the viewers who wanted Guddi to stay in the picture for long.
Guddi Puts Her Plan into Action
When Roshni feels completely dejected because Saqib has disappeared after getting caught, Guddi decides to step in. The way she entered the room and completely took over was simply mind-blowing. The dialogues were so on point and both these actresses performed superbly. The precision with which Guddi put her plan into action suggests that she will win! Did you enjoy watching these scenes? It is very difficult to pick out one scene which you like more than others in the play Sadqay Tumharay because every episode of this play is breathtaking but in every episode there is always one or more scenes that leave the viewers spellbound. This last scene from the first episode of Sadqay Tumhare was beautifully shot and it played an important part in the play. This was when Khalil for the first time realized that he wanted to see Shano. Until this time Khalil was not interested in going to the village let alone meeting Shano. For Shano her engagement with Khalil meant more to her than anything else in the world. Shano’s greatest wish was that Khalil should come to the wedding, for this reason all her friends went to say a prayer for Shano. The scene when the girls are on their way to the Mazar is beautiful, the way it effected Khalil is filmy yet mind blowing and the OST playing in the background just adds to the phenomenal effect it has on the viewers. This is the beginning of Shano and Khalil’s love story and it could not have been shot in a more magnificent way.
