Mizaan Jaffrey is one of the rising stars of the Bollywood movies. Apart from being a struggling actor and being in the early stages of his professional acting career, Mizaan is a great dancer as well and has learned this talent of dancing from his father Javed Jaffery who himself was a big choreographer during his own time. He came on the big screen from his first movie Malaal (2019), in which he played the lead role as Shiva Morey with co-star Shamin Segal.
Mizaan was born on the 15 June 1995 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. He belongs to a Shia Muslim family. His mother is Habiba Jaffrey. Mizaan has always been very close to her mother since his childhood and he considers his father quite strict. He has a younger brother Abbas Jaffrey and a younger sister Alaviaa Jaffrey. He has studied at Ecole Mondiale World School in Mumbai and did graduation in business from the School of Visual Arts in New york. At the early stages of his professional life, Mizaan wanted to be a businessman, but after joining film school, he thought business doesn’t suit on him. Later he did an acting course in the New York City. Mizaan Jaffery was born into a family of actors. His grandfather, popularly known as Jagdeep, is a veteran actor and comedian; his paternal uncle Naved Jaffrey is an actor, producer as well as director, and also a choreographer.
Mizaan Jaffrey began his professional career as an Assistant Director for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film “Bajirao Mastani.” And in 2019, he made his professional Bollywood debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film “Malaal.” Meezan had no intentions of entering the glamour world of the Bollywood film industry. And regarding this fact, he said once in an interview that “I never intended to get into the industry or try filmmaking. I was actually inclined towards sports and music. My co-star Sharmin (Segal) is my classmate, and she was assisting for Mary Kom. After we were done with school, I was studying business, but then I joined film school because I thought business did not suit me and I wanted to try editing and direction.” Mizaan was highly interested in sports as well as music during his school time. And he has also represented the state of Maharashtra in many inter and state-level basketball competitions. In addition, he also played football very passionately during his childhood days. Furthermore, he is also trained in theatre as well as martial arts. Moreover, Meezan also played football and did swimming. Mizaan is a fitness freak. He spends most of the time in the gym.
It is rumored that Mizaan is in a relationship with the Navya Naveli Nanda. She is a granddaughter of a well-known actor in Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan. They are also spotted together during hangouts many times in Mumbai. but not much is known since Mizaan is shy and he avoids facing media.
