Shruti Haasan has worked hard and has established herself to be one of the most famous actresses in the South Indian Cinema. Along with her acting career, she also has earned various awards for portraying eminent characters in a list of movies, she has earned three Filmfare awards as well.
As a youngster child artist, Shruti Haasan sang in movies and also made a guest appearance in the movie directed by her dad naming Hey Ram (2000), prior to making her grown-up acting debut in the Bollywood film Luck in 2009. She also gained acknowledgment for portraying the leading characters in a number of Telugu romantic comedy movies including Oh My Friend (2011), the Telugu dream film Anaganaga O Dheerudu (2011), the Tamil sci-fi action film 7aum Arivu (2011). Shruti Haasan has also earned nominations for the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer – Tamil for her beautiful playback singing in “Kannazhaga Kaalazhaga” in 2012 and also for her soulful voice in “Yendi” in Puli in 2015; and she also garnered the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer – Telugu for the greatest hit song “Intersection Lo” in Aagadu in 2014. Haasan has now made her own music band and has also started her professional career as a music director with her started dad’s production house Unnaipol Oruvan (2009) and has since shaped her own music band.
Shruti Haasan was signed as a brand ambassador for the electrical appliance company Lloyd. She also endorses Emami Navratna cool talc. She is a brand ambassador for Fossil watches in India. In a 2018 poll conducted by the Chennai Times, Haasan was named among one of the most desirable women in Chennai.
