In an interview, he talked about how he became an actor and shared his whole journey which is full of struggle and hard work.

He shared, “I started with a radio show named ‘Dude where is my song?’ You might have heard my show when you used to come back from school and many of you might have called on the show to play a song. So I started from there. I didn’t want to become RJ and I didn’t know about it. Once my mother came home and she said that why don’t you try radio? I agreed and gave the audition and got selected as well. The journey is still continued but my radio career ended after 5-6 years.”

“I wanted to grow further on merit and I started hosting for Hum TV in 2018 then I became VJ. Next step was acting but I never went to any acting school. When I started acting I faced lots of criticism. I gave so many auditions but everyone rejected me. I was so dishearted and left everything and joined university to complete my education.”

Ali Ansari further said, “After that suddenly one day I got an offer of a telefilm and luckily I got my next drama. I was doing the job at that time so I left it and started acting again. Its been five years I have been in the field of acting and facing lots of criticism. Constructive criticism is good and one must learn from it.”

In that case, we do a little bit of cheating. We recently did a serial together that had intense scenes, and it was quite difficult for me to act in front of him. I can’t do scenes with him because he has those big, expressive eyes, and it’s hard not to see him as my father rather than the character he’s playing. In the start we were quite nervous to work with each other as it was our first project together, but then we talked to each other and decided how to work. We both were on the same page that is why the chemistry was developed between us, added Ali Abbas.

Ali Abbas recently stated in an interview to a reputed tabloid that he thinks of himself more like Ayushman Khurrana and Nawazudin Siddiqui. He said that he looks up to Ryan Gosling in Hollywood.
