Wedding bells are ringing for Pakistan’s much-loved showbiz star Saba Qamar as she has surprisingly accepted a proposal from a blogger Azeem Khan to marry him this year.

Azan Sami Khan is Adnan Sami Khan and Zeba Bakhtiyar’s only son. Adnan is in his mid 20s but he’s done so much that most can’t do even till their 40s. He’s just produced music for Parwaaz Hai Junoon. Azan Sami Khan is a famous singer, who has also worked as a producer, a music composer as well as an assistant director. Azan Sami Khan recently appeared in an interview with “Gloss ETC By Maliha Rehman”.

Azan Sami Khan while talking about rejection, mentioned that “I don’t deny the privilege that exists. What I can do in that is put everything I can into everything I do, to justify my sitting in a position that I’m sitting in. And absolutely things get rejected because at the end of the day we’re in a business and I’m very much aware of it.”

“Honestly speaking I’ve no problem with it because in terms of work getting rejected is concerned it does happen and maybe for me it more happens on the creative side of things that it may not align with the vision of the director or producer and even that is a privilege and I’m very grateful for that”, added Azan.

Azan while talking about how he handles criticism, stated that “I’m very grateful for the unconditional love people gave me. Secondly, there’s a constructive criticism and that I appreciate because I strive towards getting better at what I do, wether it is music or acting. It makes me go back ang think and improve myself. The people who troll and think that I should vanish, so to them I don’t really care. I have a dialogue for them which says “Now you’ll tell me what I have to do?”.

Earlier this week we got to see the cinematic trailer of Rehan Sheikh’s Azad which was pretty intriguing given that nothing much was revealed about the plot and the movie has managed to keep the subtlety maintained in this new song called ‘Tehriye Hazoor’ as well.

The song is an ode to the black and white 60’s era beautifully combined with Jazz music. The song is sung and composed by Schumaila Hussain.

The film stars Rehan Sheikh, Sabreen Hisbani, Salman Shahid and Sanam Saeed. Azad will be making it’s way to big screens on 9th of February.

Although Pakistan’s Lollywood industry seems no more interested in adopting a change for its quality improvement, it is also evident that the new directors and producers who are emerging on screen are determined to bring a change in the film-industry, making their country proud. The movies like Khuda K Liye, Ramchand Pakistani, Bol,  Saving Faces and Seedlings are those leading projects that are been recognized all over the world and seems like the next one in the list would be the upcoming Action  thriller “The Extortionist”.

The movie is produced by Azaan Sami, son of Adnan Sami with Zeb Bakhtiar as the executive producer. The movie is said to be in the final stages and is expected to be released in  August this year. Been written by Summer Nicks, who has won international awards for his talent, this movie primarily focuses on how one perceive things around. What increases the probability of this movie succeeding is its cast which includes Aamina Sheikh,Shaan Shahid,Iman Ali,Shamoon Abbasi and Ayub Khuso.

It has been concluded that not much has been revealed about the project by now but it is assumed that the movie will have everything to win the hearts of the viewers.

Adnan Sami is an India singer, musician, music composer and an actor. He was married to Zeba Bakhtiar in 1993, with whom he had a son Azaan Sami Khan but unfortunately, the marriage ended in three years. In 2001, Adnan Sami had his second marriage with Sabah Galadari which ended up in divorce within one and a half year.

He added that people will call him “ghaddar ka beta” and similar things on social media and he has to tolerate it. But he does not need to prove every time how much he loves Pakistan and how patriotic he is. Despite his father being a Padmashree recipient in India and he could have gone to live with him, he never left Pakistan.
