My role in the play is of an ordinary dehahti larka who inspires to be someone very influential.”

He confessed that writing is not an easy job for him,

Writing in tough; Up until last year, the idea of writing a book wouldn’t even have crossed my mind. Udaari and my study of the crime changed all that. I felt that I had the moral responsibility, not to mention a burning desire, to write about a problem that affected me in the deepest possible manner. All of us need to work towards protecting our children from abuse. They deserve that. The book is a step that I am taking as a citizen to help eliminate child sexual abuse.

We wish Ahsan best of luck for the book and appreciate his efforts to bring a positive change in our world and help those who cannot raise their voice of the topic that is considered as a ‘taboo’ topic in our society.

“Basically we are promoting the lighter side of Islam, which is much, much needed these days. It’s the first time that Pakistani theatre is happening in London.”

The play will come along with three to four songs, in a backdrop of a village, in Punjabi to highlighten the Heer Ranjha affect. The Udaari famed actor further revealed the story line as:

“The legends of Heer Ranjha tells the story of a romance that created revolutionary uproar. An adaptation of that love story, Ishq combines classical and modern dance with a unique blend of poetry and fusion music.”

Ishq will be performed at Sadler’s Wells Theatre London from 7th-9th September .

The host asked, “do yo mind when people say you an international actor (while referring to the viral video), to this Ahsan smiled and said, “You mean “Here & there”, well I do work here and there what’s special in that”. Talking about trolling on the video he said, “Why would I mind even if it was an older video which resurfaced later, I don’t mind as I didn’t do anything bad or anything morally corrupt, so it’s okay if it got viral and people talked about it, I really enjoyed the memes”The actor said that he enjoys the memes of fans.

Ahsan Khan is a renowned Pakistani celebrity who is also popular for his acting and hosting, he is confident, energetic and opinionated. He has done unlimited block buster dramas including Udaari, Mere Qatil Mere Dildar and Mujhey Khuda Pey Yaqeen Hai.

Lately, he visited Tabish’s show where he talked about many unusual things in a funny and casual way, a lot of different questions were asked by the host Tabish Hashmi from Ahsan. On a question of Tabish, “Tell us at least 5 lies that every production house speaks to you?”

Ahsan replied, “there are not five lies but there is one lie that every production house speaks and it is, ‘this script is totally new, you might have not read it in your life before’, and when you see the script, it is the same script that you have been reading and doing since long”

Ahsan Khan has been appointed as a CLF Goodwill Ambassador by the Children’s Literature Festival.

Khan is born in London into a family of five siblings: an elder brother, two elder sisters and a twin brother, Yasir Khan. He’s the only one to have gone into acting from his family.

In an interview, Ahsan Khan shared how his twin brother gets angry when somebody approaches him and calls him Ahsan Khan.

On asking upon ‘does your twin brother ever pretend to be you?’ Ahsan replied, “Not at all, my twin brother does not like this attention at all. He is like a normal, casual guy who lives in London, he does not live here. You know how kids-people are over there they are a little more straightforward kind of people. People here are usually a little bit courteous. So whenever someone approaches him and says, ‘Oh, you are Ahsan Khan, what are you doing here?’ He reacts in a very bad way. He asks me, ‘what is with you? people keep on coming behind me’.”

Furthermore, he shared, “My brother is a little heavier than me. I am heavy too but he is a bit heavier. He is not in the field so he does not want to maintain. So people usually approach him and say, ‘you have gained a little weight, what has happened with you?’ So he really dislikes this but obviously he is my brother he is an amazing guy and plays along as well.”

Ahsan Khan is a well-known star of the entertainment industry who has been part of the industry from quite a long time.

From playing a decent character to appearing as a villain, he has done everything.

Recently, he appeared in an interview where he talked about his personal life and work life.

Ahsan Khan was in love with 2-3 girls in his neighbourhood, on which Sohail Warraich asked him how he made it possible to love all of them at one time?

Ahsan Khan laughed and replied, “This information is not with anyone.”

He continued and said, “I think in younger age you have an attachment with different people. Sometimes you like their style or small things in their personality so naturally, you are attracted towards them.” 

“I don’t think it is difficult to be in love with three people at the same time. People don’t talk about it but it’s possible especially when you are in your teens. However, with the time you learn things and improve yourself that you have to love only one girl,” Khan added.

Ahsan Khan also revealed that he knew his wife before his marriage and they used to live in the same neighbourhood.

At the time of marriage, he had many options but he chose his wife Fatima Khan among other girls.

Alif is one of the best dramas so far. The character, the dialogues, the relationship between humans and Allah, and the realization of mistakes are so related to the real world. All the viewers can somehow relate their life with Alif’s storyline. Hamza Ali Abbasi, one of the most talented actors of Pakistan, confirmed that Alif was a life-changing drama for him. 

We all wanted to know how the actors felt while shooting for Alif. How was their experience? What was the best part of their character? And so many other questions that we all wanted to know. So, Ahsan Khan urf Taha Bin Abdul Alla answered some interesting questions during an interview with FUCHSIA. 

What was your first reaction after reading Alif’s script? Ahsan humbly answered that when an actor is offered a character, there is a reason behind it. He further added that he doesn’t work much or say yes to all the offers, so he had to see with whom he will work, the director, the production, and most importantly, will he enjoy the character himself. After checking everything, he said yes to the script. 

Ahsan had 50 or 60 scenes altogether, but the whole idea was so powerful, everything was so well written, every scene was so intense, and he enjoyed every bit of it. There was a reason behind the drama- to develop a strong relation with Allah, and Alif was special. He was satisfied with his character and was happy that he did it. 

Was there any dialogue that you felt happened to you in real life? Ahsan explained that if you have any skill in you, it is God gifted. You are nothing without Allah, so the powerful your relationship is with Allah, the more satisfying life you will live. 

Any funny memories during shooting? Ahsan laughed and replied that it was too cold so, there was nothing funny, except Manzaar Sahab used to walk around the set with a big shawl on his shoulders, and everyone used to laugh at him. Ahsan shared something interesting as well. Haseeb, the director, used to play sad music before shooting to bring everyone into their characters.
