Adnan Siddiqui is a very jolly person. He is a successful actor and producer and he knows how to conquer the screen whenever he appears in a drama. He is also known to have fun and never shies away from cracking a joke or pulling a prank. He was a guest on Hasna Mana Hai for the Eid special.

Adnan Siddiqui was asked about his romantic personality and the roles that he picks. He was also asked about what feature he notices when he meets a woman for the very first time. The actor was quick to respond and said that he generally notices a woman’s feet when he meets her.

“Filming the last few scenes of the last episode of “Mere Paas Tum Ho”. What a thrilling and educating experience this has been. Still remember the day- when the script was offered to me and I was in two minds as to how the audience would react and accept my character… but where ever I travelled and even in Pakistan my character received a fantastic responce.
Not only me, but all the characters were appreciated and after long I’ve worked in a drama where all the characters were equally strong. The direction was upto the mark, engaging dialogues and story line, title song – in short one of the rare drama’s that had everything going for it in the right direction.
Was a lifetime experience and I’m going to miss shooting for it.
But as we say, the show must go on. Upwards and onwards to 2020 and may be more such drama’s.

Mere Paas Tum Ho can be declared as the most loved drama of 2019. With every coming episode, it’s viewers are increasing.

Adnan Siddiqui who is playing the role of villain gave an interview. He talked about Mere Paas Tum Ho and said, “From the direction to the production, acting, and even the soundtrack, this drama is so well-packaged. It’s hard to find technical faults in it. It’s amazing how audiences are reacting to certain scenes and dialogues. And it’s being watched by people all over the world. I feel like such a hero.”

He shared that the audience of Mere Paas Tum Ho is mostly comprised of men. “My first big hit was the drama Uroosa, which was also the first episodic serial that I acted in. Suddenly, I was a big favourite. But back then, my fans were mainly young college girls. Now, the fans are varied; from young girls to older women to men! Did you know that, according to surveys, men comprise 55% of Mere Paas Tum Ho’s audience?”

The writer of the drama is Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar is a misogynist. In an interview, he gave derogatory remarks on women stating that a woman who was unfaithful was not a woman at all in his eyes.

On asking upon from Adnan, whether he thinks that the script is more inclined towards discrediting women?

“It is a very well-told story about something that truly does happen in Pakistani society,” he replied.

“That’s how it needs to be looked at. Ayeza may be the villain, but Hira Mani’s character is depicted in a positive light as an independent woman with strong values. Every TV drama has a story to tell and a lesson to give. I don’t think that the drama has been written specifically for men or for women — it is for the Pakistani audience, overall, and they are connecting well to it.”

Adnan further added that Qamar is a loud man and that’s how he is.“I wouldn’t have said what he said but that’s just the kind of person he is. He has his opinions and he’s unafraid to say them out loud. But look at the title song that he’s written. How effective his wordplay is. That’s what needs to be appreciated!”

I remember that I was giving my metric exams and my mother was admitted in the hospital, we used to eat our dinner in the hospital, she got admitted for 1.5 years and I would like to thank the lady who used to make dinner for us, my aunty used to cook for us. I remember that I used to reach the hospital after a long bus journey, on her last day, when I reached her room at the hospital, she was taking her last breath, I came to the room where the doctors were pumping the oxygen, she saw me and she passed away but I can remember her face because she was in peace”. Fawad Khan is trying his luck in the new field which is hosting a unique game show named ‘Our Guess Tonight’. After such a long time, he is back and people love to see him.

In the latest episode, he invited two famous actors who are close friends and worked in dramas as well. Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui were the guests of ‘Our Guess Tonight’.

In the beginning, Adnan Siddiqui shared that he is in Turkey these days and he revealed the reason, “I am here in Turkey to sue them in order to remind them that we are alive and can do commercials. I am thinking to work on something like Ertugrul but they are not allowing me.”

Then Fawad Khan started the game and explained, “In the show, two guests will be doing a competition. In the competition, they will be given lists and both the participants will guess the words within a limited time. They can give each other clues but not speak the exact words. The game is simple and super entertaining.”

Humayun Saeed and Adnan Siddiqui played excellently and had quite fun on the show.

In the end, Fawad Khan announced the results and Adnan Siddiqui won the game.

Meray Pass Tum Ho has been trending as one of the highest rating earner drama ever in this year on ARY Digital. Rightfully so, the interesting story, the performances of its cast and the overall look and feel of the drama, make it the audiences’ favorite.

In response Danish narrated not only his pain upon Mehwish’s betrayal but also how he couldn’t do something wrong because his father kept reprimanding him in his dreams. One thing the audience noted here was how Shahwar too, had tears in his eyes listening to Danish.

Now, Adnan Siddiqui was specifically questioned about the scene, as to whether Shahwar too got misty eyed because he felt Danish’s pain or was it something else altogether.

In the interview, Adnan Siddiqui however shared, “I have a problem when it comes to stopping my tears. A lot of people did ask me if Shahwar felt bad for Danish and so had tears in his eyes. But no. The way Danish mentions his father, I’m sure Humayun thought of his deceased father too at that time, and this made me think about my own father, who used to advice me the same way. I did get emotional and there was this connection in that scene.”

Adding further, Adnan praised Humayun for his superb acting. “The smoothness and emotional way with which Humayun has played Danish, its remarkable. Hats off to him for such a superb role.”

Adnan Siddiqui is a friend to many Pakistani celebrities and spend good time with them. Recently, he shared a live video on social media in which Ali Azmat was singing Na Re Na with his gitaar. Adnan Siddiqui along with other friends were enjoying it to the fullest.

“The first scene that we shoot was the one with Do Takay Ki Aurat Dialogue and when Humayun was saying it, I realized the intensity of the dialogue and I thought it was a very strong dialogue and I decided to read the whole script. It’s a confession that when I went for shooting I just read my own scenes but after this dialogue, I read the whole script” shared Adnan Siddiqui

“I must be in my early 20s when I shot one of my first TV ads for Pert Shampoo,” the actor reminisced. Reflecting on the tagline of the advertisement. ‘Hum baal dho rahey hayen aur khayal badal rahey hayen’ quite an illogical tag line in retrospect”, wrote Adnan.

Adnan further added “This was also the time when I had no plans to join the television industry and was content with being a model. As part of the storyboard, I had also visited a girl’s college. Before my interaction with the students, the principal invited me to her office and quite sheepishly asked me to tell the students that I am engaged! Well, I followed through though I am not sure till date that it made any difference to them.”
