I borrowed the money from friends to buy a ticket from Lahore to Rohri and from Rohri I went to my village to see my mother”. He changed the topic sooner after that.

When Nadir Ali asked again about his statement, he further said that it was enough of an information that he went to his house from train. Talking about Naseeruddin Shah, he said that Shah Sahab brought his makeup artist from India and they fulfilled all his demands. Drama serial Ibn-e-Hawa is an upcoming project produced by Momina Duraid, written by Saji Gul and directed by Ahmed Kamran. The drama serial stars the very talented Aymen Saleem, Hira Mani and Shahzad Sheikh. After temporarily quitting showbiz industry, this project will mark Aymen Saleem’s comeback on television screen. Saji Gul said that the drama’s theme tackles the issue of misogyny. “It will be about how the mind of a man is moulded within a patriarchal system, how he is taught that a woman is inherently evil, how the man starts seeing all relationships in a negative light and as a burden, how he sees a woman as a deceiver,” he said.

Our industry is very different from other industries. I have done investment banking in New York, I have done consulting, that’s the industry I am talking about when your field is totally different. So coming into showbiz is a completely different volume altogether. What happened to me as I wasn’t really sure, whether I want to do it or not. Because it was just so much and I am very thankful for it, I was really humbled by it. I wasn’t really sure that whether I was ready for it or not, or I want to do it or not. So I just took a step back, reevaluated what I wanted to do, and then if I come back I should come back to stay”

Aymen Saleem joined the Pakistani drama industry last year and blew everyone’s mind with her performance in Chupke Chupke. Her character Mishi became overnight sensation and people were dying to see her in more projects. She however, announced that she is quitting the drama industry after just one project.
