I thoroughly enjoyed watching this episode. I have always liked Amina Sheikh as an actress because of versatility – she takes on different roles and plays every character brilliantly. This is the second time I watched her on a talk show, the first being Tonight With HSY and I really like how she voices her thoughts on different topics. She is a model, TV and film actress and along with that, she is also a producer. Sarmad Khoosat revealed that he first met Amina when she was producing a show.

Amin Iqbal shared his love for his parents and also spoke about how his mother and her teachings were. He revealed that his father has a great impact on him and he taught him practicalities of life and professionalism but his mother brought in that sensitivity in him which he is still able to channel till today.
Amin Iqbal shared a very emotional story about his mother. He revealed his mother was a very kind-hearted person and once Amin brought baby chicks as pets to his house. One day a chick damaged his leg and he could not walk fast like the other pet chicks. Amin was feeding them and noticed how the health chicks left the injured one behind. He got emotional about how even animals do not care about their injured brother and started crying. When his mother saw this, she slapped him, and said that it is your fault if you are emotional about someone’s plight and not practically helping them. These are the teachings she instilled in him.

The director revealed that Azaan Sami Khan asked him to throw him out of the show if his scenes did not look right on the very first day. The director added that he is also working with Zaviyar Nauman and only people from industry families who are talented get the opportunity. Thus people should not just bash them. Even Azaan is a better actor than both Adnan and Zeba but he is not getting the right scripts. These kids are suffering from generational curse and audience does not give them time to develop themselves.

He also shared that our actors also have very difficult routines and they are often drinking coffee and caffeine which makes them irritable. As a director, he regulates these habits on his sets.

Amin Iqbal also spoke about what he went through when he started out in the industry. He exposed a big producer and shared that he took his scripts to him. The producer asked him if Amin Iqbal was “drinking” when he wrote these scripts as “drinking” is necessary for the creative process. Amin does not drink and replies that he does not even drink tea or coffee. The producer insulted him and threw those scripts on his face. It was painful for Amin but he was determined to prove himelf. Years later, the same producer met him at a show where he was being awarded. He apologized for his previous behaviour and acknowledged Amin Iqbal’s talent.

She has been extremely motivating and one of the main reasons why I was able to perform, the way I was able to perform was because of my co-star Mawra. Its all teamwork.”
“If there was my solo shot she used to enthusiastically give expressions. Acting is all about reactions so Mawra’s reactions were really helpful,” he added.
Talking about how Mawra motivated him, he said, “If I even had down days or I was ill and had bad days, Mawra never took it. She used to say if you have come on set then you have to perform 110% like you did yesterday. Her encouragement made it all easy. We had clear intentions towards projects and one another and that translated into the chemistry.”
Mara Hocane and Ameer Gilani were classmates and they have known each other from that time.
Ameer Gilani shared about his Law school time with Mawra and said, “Mawra and I never talked in class during LLB. There was casual hello, hi and she was a big star for me like she is for you. However, she didn’t show off and she used to come to attend classes and went home. She is extremely hardworking, intelligent and blessed. She has excelled academically and it’s not easy. Managing a proper career as a superstar and doing law is remarkable. I don’t know how she did it but one can learn from her. She was extremely quiet and I was kinda backbencher.”
