Ohkay so, Mana Ka Gharana ended tonight & as ecstatic as I am about this drama ending way before the 20th episode mark, I am not at all happy with how the last episode was written, directed & edited. There were so many loopholes & it looks like if Jahangir & Laila hadn’t saved the day, no one from this gharana would’ve taken the necessary measures to come out of the deep pit that Shehryaar dug around them.

Ghalib got to know that Khizer was an angel in disguise but he mistook him for a devil. I am surprised that Ghalib kept on finding one lie after another that his wife blurted in front of him but he chose not to say anything to her at all? I think the most important thing, even more important than Ghalib making a cameo as a someone capable of standing was Saleha getting reprimanded for all the lies she has told & all the mess that she has created. It’s like she got a clean chit even though she didn’t deserve it because her husband was too afraid of her? I am so disappointed. Also, I really thought may be Saleha herself will realize her mistakes & apologize to everyone for what she has done but she stood their with her head held high as if she never did anything wrong!?!?!

Gul Bahar got what she deserved & very easily Maalik threw her out of his life. Gul Bahar got a reality check from Shehryaar as well that made her realize that he wasn’t even sincere to her & was only using her to attain what he wanted. Shehryaar seemed so calm & chilled about the whole situation because he knew that his mindless minion was doing everything for him. Saleha really proved that even if money can’t buy happiness, it surely can buy someone an overly possessive mother-in-law because if there was only fine quality that Saleha saw in Shehryaar, it was his wealth & only because of that, she was ready to defend him till her last breath. I found it amusing that Mana was the one who fell for Shehryaar but the one who actually fell harder for him was Saleha because she kept on making a point throughout the drama & in front of everyone that she was ready to do anything & everything for the sake of her daughter’s happiness, but the one thing she wasn’t ready to do was listening to the same daughter who wanted to share what was burdening her. Saleha’s character was so annoying & the 101 Dalmatians print didn’t help the situation either!!!

I believe that Ghalib got way more coverage than required & the writer tried to make a point that may be he was the protagonist of the drama that deserved the utmost attention in the very last episode. He got to meet Khizer & got to know that Maalik divorced Gul Bahar & that entire conversation was so unconvincing. Maalik told Saleha & Ghalib that Gul Bahar was the one who plotted against Khizer & Gul Bahar chose to believe it? It was so unlike her because whenever it came to Shehryaar & Gul Bahar, Saleha reasoned & questioned everything to overrule what she was hearing, but this time around, she believed it without even inquiring any further? It just didn’t make sense!!!

Oh well, I am so glad I was never impressed with Laila’s character & in the end she proved me right because she displayed a lot of selfishness by keeping Shehryaar’s secret from Khizer because she knew that the moment she will blurt out the truth, Mana’s family will call her engagement off & Khizer will get married to her. Also, may I ask, how did she find about Shehryaar being the one Mana was engaged to? Did she see his picture somewhere or did she come across him while wandering around in Murree??? So many loose ends that weren’t tied together properly in the very last episode. Anyways, the whole engagement scene was quite ridiculously directed too. Like if Mana hadn’t walked away, Laila would never have pulled her hand back & Jahangir uncle would never have spoken the truth about Shehryaar being the one who ruined Samra’s life!!! All this while Jahangir uncle claimed to be Ghalib’s best buddy but he chose to stay quiet whereas if he would’ve been his best friend, he would’ve made that call the first thing informing Ghalib about Shehryaar & telling him to call Mana’s wedding off.

I really thought that Khizer will be the one who will expose Shehryaar & come clean in front of everyone that he never really stole Mana’s ring. I also thought that Khizer along with Maalik will expose Shehryaar’s intentions that he was after their property but nothing of that sort happened either. Laila & Jahangir were introduced as side characters but they ended up becoming the saviors & the heroes of this drama because if it wasn’t for them, no one would’ve found out the truth as they all were way too comfortable in their lives & also were quite comfortable under the influence of Saleha who was ruining their lives without worrying about anyone at all. Finally, Zarri’s brother grew up some spine & brought his sister back to where she belonged, which was Maalik’s house, which again was like a situation that came by without any background scene. Also, what happened to Shehryaar & how they told him off was missing too. I feel the ending should’ve been entirely different where the main focus should’ve been on these things that needed to be addressed more than showing Ghalib & his glycerin-filled tears & yes, the main thing we all were waiting for was to see Saleha regretting & apologizing for how she treated Khizer & how she manipulated Zarri & Maalik’s equation but nope, she proved that once a dheet will always be a dheet!!!

Anyways, the drama is over & I am glad that it is. It started off at a good note but just because the script didn’t even have enough content to properly fill up the 17 episodes, it lost its charm & a lot of episodes started looking like fillers. I really think the directors should pay more attention to how they wrap the drama up because they literally waste 5 – 6 episodes with meaningless filler scenes & when it comes to the last episode, they make sure to show that they lost interest in the drama because of which the last episode ends up looking like an after-thought. For me, the best thing about this entire drama was Maalik & Zarri’s equation, their scenes & their characters. Both Shamil Khan & Erum Akhtar did full justice to the roles that were assigned to them & made their journey a treat to watch. The rest of the actors did a decent job too but I really think Sana Javed needs to bring a change in her overall styling, dialogue delivery & her personality, also Shehroz Sabzwari made a come back after a long time so it is disappointing to see that despite having so much of time on his hands, he didn’t put it to good use & learn some expressions & even a tad bit of acting. Anyways, please share your thoughts about this episode of Mana Ka Gharana & the entire drama as well & also, thank you so much for keeping the discussions alive. :)

Ohkay so, finally after a very long time, probably after a decade this episode of Mana Ka Gharana was good & happening because they moved the story forward & a lot was revealed.

First off, Maalik got to meet Zarri & told him that he ain’t letting her go anywhere, which was one of the scenes that I enjoyed watching the most. Zarri really needed that assurance because she should know that a person whom she’ll have to take a stand for was willing to walk an extra mile for her & Maalik exactly did that. He traveled all the way to Hyderabad to let her know that he will now take charge of the situation & won’t let anyone come in their way. Maalik is ready & now Zarri needs to convince herself that she is not the home-wrecker here & she is not the second woman either, she is someone who came into Maalik’s life when he was all alone, so they both deserve to be happy with each other.

Finally, Mana got to know the truth behind the pictures of Samar & Shehryaar that she stumbled upon. She not only found out that Samar was Shehryaar’s wife but she also got to know how Shehryaar ripped her family off & got the farm house that they were staying at. Looks like it’s one of Shehryaar’s hobbies to grab the properties of girls who enter his life. It was a huge shocker for her which is why she was emotionally shattered but oh dear, it will take a lot for her to convince her mother who is so in love with Shehryaar that she is not ready to listen to anything that Mana has to say.

I really thought that when Ghaalib will regain consciousness, he will make the right decision but looks like he woke up from the wrong side & his brain cells got damaged that even after all that Shehryaar did to him & his family, he was ready to give everything to him just because Mana’s happiness means a lot to him. Like seriously, who in his right state of mind will get his daughter married to such a guy who wasn’t even ashamed of mooching off of them? Also, how does giving away his home to Shehryaar guarantees that Mana will lead a happy life with him?

I swear, I really don’t know what will I do if I will hear Saleha talk rather spewing venom one. more. time. Like this lady is so full of filth & toxins that the moment she speaks, she intoxicates her surroundings. Saleha didn’t let Mana say what she wanted to because she was worried that it might take a toll on Ghaalib’s health, but the moment he woke up, she herself didn’t bat an eye while badmouthing Khizer like it was his fault that Ghaalib was in the hospital. Also, she didn’t even tell her husband that Khizer was the one who took him to the hospital & rather covered for Shehryaar, who was nowhere to be seen, like there’s a limit to being a blind minion but Saleha has crossed it. I really hope that after Ghaalib learns the truth about Shehryaar, he gives his wife such a reality check that she never opens her mouth again!!!!

Oh well, it was good to see Rota Ghaalib & Hansta Jahangir’s reunion. Looks like now Ghaalib will get a proper information about what transpired between his daughter Samar & his son in law Shehryaar that Samar passed away. I liked this twist & didn’t see it coming. All this while I thought may be Laila will be the one bursting the bubble but looks like her father will do the honors, but never mind, whoever does it, it needs to be done ASAP.

I don’t really get Mana’s attitude though, she goes around giving a tough time to people around her, like she is the one who has wrecked her whole family apart & she is the one because of whom everyone is suffering but still she hasn’t changed or humbled herself. The way she spoke to Laila was quite rude & why does she think that Khizer should have clung on to her even when she was almost gone from his life for good? Mana needs to understand that she is not always going to be the center of everyone’s universe, so she should take it easy on others!

Anyways, I am hoping that the next episode will be the last one but looks like they will take at least 2 – 3 episodes to wrap it up but as far as they are working towards the ending & not dragging things further, it’s cool. I must say the lighting & the makeup in this entire episode was really really bad & they all looked older all of a sudden, which shows that a good lighting makes such a huge difference. Also, I can’t really understand what was going on with Gul Bahar’s styling in this episode? Why was she dressed like a bag piper? May be Shehryaar hired her to play the bagpipes in his high-profile party that never really took place. Also, I wish while mooching off Samar’s property from her, Shehryaar had also snatched one of her combs because he’s always in a dire need of a proper comb to keep his untamed hair in place, which are always shooting out like tree branches from his head. Anyways, I am glad that the drama is going to end soon, please share your thoughts about this episode of Mana Ka Gharana.

Ohkay so, finally after a very very long time, we got an episode which was happening & took the story forward in the right direction which was much much needed. I think it’s about time that they start wrapping this drama up & if things progress this way then 3 – 4 episodes are more than enough to cover every aspect properly.

& yes, we all guessed it right, it was Saleha who contacted Javed & told him to take care of Zarri because she was done with her. Yes, I am sure Gul Bahar was the one who gave her the idea but Saleha like a blind mindless minion followed her master’s orders & did everything to please her. Saleha didn’t even bat an eye with shame that she has become so conniving that she is now backstabbing her own family members just to make sure that nothing goes wrong in Mana’s life. Does Saleha really have no idea that everything that she has done can come back & bite her too? It was good that before leaving, Zarri did have a conversation with Saleha & tried to tell her that what she did was wrong. I found it ridiculous that all of a sudden Javed showed up with bigger promises whereas he was the one who drove Zarri away. Gul Bahar also told Javed that Zarri was becoming the reason why she & Maalik were unable to reconcile their differences whereas if Javed was sane enough, he should have defended Zarri by saying that when Gul Bahar left Maalik, Zarri wasn’t even in the picture. Anyways, all the characters have stopped making sense & they do exactly what they shouldn’t do, so it’s useless to expect that they will do something right!!!

Saleha didn’t feel any shame in confessing in front of Mana that she doesn’t want to do anything that will infuriate Gul Bahar because she is too concerned about the impact she will make on her & Shehryaar’s relation if she gets ticked off. Saleha really has crossed all the limits right? She has lost her sensibility whatsoever to be pampering someone who has nothing to do with the emotion of sincerity. Doesn’t Saleha realize that when Gul Bahar deemed fit, she left Maalik & when she was in a mood, she came back to make things right, so when she has lived life on her terms & conditions where she didn’t even care about her husband & her marriage, why would she be loyal to Saleha? Other than making things right with Maalik, Gul Bahar has no other reason to be nice to Saleha’s family & Saleha is a fool to believe that Gul Bahar means good for her & her daughter!!!

Maalik got to know that Zarri left & Mana was the one who informed him. In fact, Mana also sympathized with both Zarri & Maalik because she understands how they feel for each other that is why she also convinced him to go & meet Zarri & tell her honestly about what he feels. I think that’s the only good thing that Mana has done over the last few episodes but I so wish she had told Maalik honestly that it was Saleha who allowed that to happen & in fact she ganged up with Gul Bahar to part them both. At least Maalik then would’ve found out the actual reason behind Zarri’s departure & he wouldn’t have been doubtful about Zarri’s intentions. Anyways, it was good to see that Mana tried to help Maalik & Zarri because she knows that they both need each other & they are compatible too.

Also, I guess the only good thing Shehryaar ever did was assuring Mana that no matter what transpires between Gul Bahar & Maalik, that will not affect their personal relationship. Not only that, Shehryaar also knows that Mana doesn’t really hold high opinion of Gul Bahar, that is why Shehryaar clearly told her that once they will get married, he will make sure that Gul Bahar doesn’t interfere in their lives because he knows that she can get a bit too nosey for anyone’s liking. I think Gul Bahar doesn’t really understand that she is making a fool out of herself to believe that Shehryaar is her trump card & she can use him & Shehryaar/Mana’s marriage for her benefit but little does she know that Shehryaar, her own beloved nephew is thinking about eliminating her from his life!!! Also, I loved the confrontation between Mana & Gul Bahar, another one of those good things that Mana did today, haha!

Laila & Khizer’s scenes were boring & I think Laila is trying really hard to crack into Khizer’s mind & find if she has a chance in his life but I am glad that Khizer is not giving her the edge. Also, I don’t really understand why does Laila concern herself with Khizer’s heart-break. It is his stuff & he will deal with it, chalo if Khizer would’ve asked her opinion then those conversations would mean something, but right now Laila is looking like someone who’s in dire need of a life, because at least then she will have something better to do & think about.

I think it was a good move by the fate that when no one was there, Khizer was near Ghaalib & he was the first one to know about Ghaalib’s health. Also, I am glad that the servant told Khizer that Shehryaar sent his people with whom Ghaalib got engaged into a heated conversation & that took a toll on him. I am sure Khizer will put two & two together. I hope he informs Maalik about what he has heard from the servant & Maalik gets the gist of it that Shehryaar definitely wants to snatch their home away from them.

Overall, this episode was pretty decent because things moved forward. I must say, I have always liked Ayesha Toor’s accurate Urdu accent but her robotic dialogue delivery is hard to tolerate. It looks like she is reading each word from the paper like a newscaster & is way too conscious about not making a mistake, which is a good thing that she is conscious but when you have such long dialogues to deliver, it tends to get on the listener’s nerves. The rest of the people were good in this episode too but Laila’s foundation shade was wrong & made her look ashy. Sana Javed looked pretty & yes, I am looking forward to the next episode because of Maalik & Zarri’s reunion but more than that, the pictures of Shehryaar with Sara Khan that Mana will stumble upon. I am sure Laila will play a cupid’s role in reuniting Mana & Khizer because she will expose Shehryaar truth about his past which will involve Laila’s sister. Things have gotten pretty interesting all of a sudden & yes I am looking forward to the next episode. Please share your thoughts about tonight’s episode of Mana Ka Gharana.

PS: Saleha aik bacha hai bigra hua, bigra hua, bigra hua!!!

Ohkay so, probably after a long time I liked this episode of Mana Ka Gharana because seems like the story of Maalik & Zarri is going to progress in the episodes to come & that’s the only thing that I look forward to in this entire drama.

As expected, Saleha now wants Maalik to reconcile his differences with Gul Bahar & start afresh. It is actually quite amusing that Saleha is doing everything she can that in her opinion, will guarantee Mana’s happiness. Saleha is leaving no stone unturned to do even achieve the unachievable, like bringing Maalik & Gul Bahar together so that no one from her side of the family stays in bad books of Shehryaar. Everything that Saleha on her own is doing for Mana is understandable because parents do these things for their children but the way Saleha is now expecting everyone else around her to make sacrifices for Mana is a bit hard to digest. Saleha herself has seen how hard things were on Maalik & how he isolated himself so it is actually quite selfish of her to ignore this entire episode of Maalik’s life & expect him to get back with Gul Bahar just to make her happy so that she doesn’t make things awkward for Mana. I wish for once Saleha will analyze the situation & understand that a relation that requires so much of effort & so much of sacrifices from a girl’s side is definitely not worth it.

After Ghaalib gave Saleha a shut up call twice, I really thought he redeemed himself but nope, this uncle is hopeless because ohkay, his wife Saleha can show some level of inconsideration towards Maalik but to hear Ghaalib convey the message of his wife Saleha to his brother like a minion was ridiculous. I really think as much as Saleha, Ghaalib is also responsible for what his family is going through because just like his wife, his brains have stopped working too & that is why he is saying such things which he definitely shouldn’t. Saleha must’ve lost all her senses, sensibility & sanity because of Mana & Shehryaar’s marriage but Ghaalib is not unaware of what his younger brother went through because of Gul Bahar, so he should be the last person telling his brother to give this marriage another chance. It was good to know that Maalik openly told Ghaalib how he thinks Gul Bahar has an ulterior motive, to which Ghaalib’s response was shocking as usual. He can already sense & foresee that things can go wrong but he is choosing to stay quiet till something actually happens, because guess what, even in that state he knows what he’ll be doing, yes you all guessed it right, hiding in his room probably under his blanket & crying buckets over his daughter’s phooti kismat!!!

I must say Gul Bahar has the bones & body of steel because even after hearing so many negative things about herself from her potential ex-husband, she still thinks she has a chance in his life & is doing everything to make things difficult for him & punish him. I really like the admiration Maalik has for Zarri & how he finds her respectable enough to feel that she should become his wife. Maalik has a plan in his mind & he is only waiting for Mana & Shehryaar to get married so that he can finally bid Gul Bahar good bye because he knows if he will divorce her before Mana’s marriage, then things will become rocky between her & her fiancé & then Saleha will get a chance to blame him & Zarri, so in order to avoid that, Maalik is being patient. I liked that in this episode, for the first time Zarri showed some care & affection towards Maalik too by asking if he has had his meal. I know it was quite typical & cheesy but I think it was the most subtle expression of affection Zarri could extend towards him.

Gul Bahar really meant something when she told Zarri to pack her stuff before she left Murree. It was obvious that she must’ve called Zarri’s brother Javed & told him to pick his little sister up. Does Gul Bahar really think that by creating a distance between Maalik & Zarri she’ll be able to draw them apart? Also, I am not sure if Saleha was involved in this plan or not because it can’t be a coincidence that a friend whom Saleha wasn’t even in contact with came to her mind & she thought of inviting her to Mana’s wedding especially when the cards haven’t been printed just as yet? I won’t be surprised if later we’ll get to know about Saleha’s involvement too because she is capable of anything nasty for the sake of her good-for-nothing daughter Mana!!!

I was surprised to see Sara Khan’s picture in Laila’s home & looks like Laila & her father have a sad story attached to them. Just like Laila, Laila’s father has become a fan of Khizer too & that seems genuine because usually uncles like him have quite an experience & they can judge a personality just in few interactions. More than Laila, I find her father’s inclination towards Khizer more relate-able probably because he takes him as his own son & feels for him because he knows that Khizer is going through a hard time.

Overall, this episode was good. I think there’s nothing more to show in Shehryaar & Mana’s track that’s why all of their conversations begin & end with the exact same dialogue uttered by Shehryaar which states ‘hamari shadi ke baad ye hoga, hamari shadi ke baad wo hoga’ & every single time, I roll my eyes because of the newness of their conversations!!! Anyways, I caan’t wait to see the next episode only to find out what Maalik’s reaction at Zarri’s departure would be. I am sure Maalik knows Gul Bahar too well to join the dots & figure out that she must be the mastermind behind all this. Even though Erum Akhtar looks amazing in the smoked out & thick eyeliner sort of eye-makeup but in the few scenes where she wasn’t wearing much eye-makeup, she looked approximately 10 years younger & fresh but having said that I believe she can rock both the makeup looks perfectly. Shamil Khan has never looked so good before & the subtlety in his expressions is making his acting seem more natural & effortless. Honestly speaking, even though I should be feeling bad, I sort of enjoyed seeing Shehryaar putting Saleha down, lol, because she deserves it. Anyways, please share your thoughts about this episode of Mana Ka Gharana.

Ohkay so, this episode was an absolute filler. I so wish that Mana Ka Gharana team learns from the team of Preet Na Kariyo Koi about how they can curb their greed of ratings & how they can end the drama before the elasticity of the chewing gum runs out. This episode literally gave us nothing to talk about. All the conversations & all the things that they showed have been seen before if not thousand, but a hundreds of times at least!!!

Saleha is stooping to new lows every single day. She didn’t allow Khizer to meet Ghaalib, obviously because she feared that Khizer might get her busted for being the one who forced him to demand the money. The way Saleha is pampering Gul Bahar & treating her like a Queen is no fun. I believe that may be because Saleha does her cooking preps in an open air, some venomous bug might’ve jumped into her food because the venom she has started to spew recently is getting out of control & there’s no other justification to the 180 degree flip she has made. She has become a chalti phirti nagin & I am actually afraid of her!

I think both Saleha & Ghaalib are such a couple who have perfect understanding of each other & that is why they both have comfortably switched their roles so that Mana doesn’t feel she that she is missing out on one of her parent. Saleha has become Mana’s father who is acting like a head of the family & taking the major decisions concerning everyone’s lives & Ghaalib has become Mana’s mother, who is doing all the crying that usually the women in our dramas do. I think apart from arranging a wheelchair for Ghaalib, the producers of Mana Ka Gharana must’ve invested a lot in the glycerin bottles required by him!

Honestly speaking, Laila kya kam thin jo unke Walid Sahab bhi Khizer ki khidmat ko hazir ho gaye? I really want to enjoy the entry of Laila in this drama but every time I remind myself that she is just a tourist, all the convincing goes down the drain because I can’t bring myself to understand why a tourist would spend her days & nights serving a localite & not exploring the town she’s visiting? I really think Murree is more than just the highways & curvy roads. They really could’ve shown some residential areas because they are always on a highway when all of them bump into each other. Mana was walking on a highway too when she saw Laila & Khizer & later Ghaalib & Maalik met Khizer at one of those canopies that have been installed for the tourists to take a pause during their journey, but having said that I must admit, I am amazed by their navigation skills & advanced technology of the GPS they use because no matter where someone is, everyone spots them just at the right place at a wrong time!!!

Mana’s character is getting cringe-worthy now. She obviously misses Khizer but doesn’t want to admit & I believe she should leave it at that because she is going to get married to her ill-mannered prince charming anyways so she should just let Khizer be. Yes, the writer is trying to tell that Mana is unable to move on because she has some sort of attachment to Khizer & if so, then her conversations should be a bit more elaborate & they should show more than Mana just being mad & angry at Khizer all the time.

I loved the conversation between Maalik & Zarri. He has clearly told her that he won’t let go of her to which Zarri didn’t respond obviously but I like how she stands up for herself in front of Gul Bahar. I really like how dignified Zarri is because all that she says to Gul Bahar is only based on what she thinks & feels & not because she knows that she has Maalik’s support. I like Zarri & Maalik’s characters a lot more than anyone else & look forward to their scenes the most too!

Finally, it was good to see that a house helper was making more sense than everybody else. She could see that everyone turned against Khizer ever since Shehryaar & Gul Bahar came into their lives. I hope that this does the trick & force Mana to do some thinking. I think it’s a high time that either one of them puts two & two together & figures out what actually Shehryaar & Gul Bahar did to their family.

Anyways, the episode was a filler & didn’t give us anything new. The preview unfortunately suggested that the next episode is going to be a filler too. They really need to move the story forward by showing that either Maalik, Zarri or Khizer tried to knock some sense into their family members about what Shehryaar’s true colors are because till that happens, the story is going to go around in circles & every episode will be like a filler! Ohkay so, honestly speaking, this episode of Mana Ka Gharana was heaps better in comparison to the previous episodes because it gave me something that I was looking forward to for a long long time. Even though there isn’t any drastic change in the attitude of Mana Ka Gharana but slowly & steadily they have started standing up against Gul Bahar, so it gives me hope that the time is soon going to come when she will be thrown out of their place & their hearts.

I am glad that the things that I said in the previous review were taken personally by Ghaalib Uncle & he chose to prove me & everyone else wrong by telling that he is very much alive & kickin’. I think in the entire journey of this drama so far, Ghaalib Uncle didn’t get this much coverage that he got in this episode where he put forth what he thinks & how he won’t tolerate any disparity among his family members. Both Ghaalib & Maalik have started to understand that things are going at the wrong path & something needs to be done ASAP to fix them.

Saleha continued to be unreasonable & she also tried to melt Ghaalib’s heart by speaking about all the sacrifices she has given to keep this family together, which I think should’ve followed by a dialogue also about how she hasn’t left any stone unturned in drifting them apart too. According to Saleha, she raised Maalik & Khizer as her children, which makes me think that she is an epic kind of a mother who believes in believing more on the guy who has just walked into their lives. Saleha is only using such words to conceal how unfair she has been because it is so obvious that if she had actually thought of Khizer as her son, she would’ve never done something so wrong with him that too based on what Shehryaar told & showed them.

Maalik was disappointed to hear what Khizer had to say & just like everyone else, he also started misunderstanding Khizer & believed what he heard from him. Even though Maalik’s wisdom missed the spot there, he still has redeemed himself by standing up against Gul Bahar & by giving her a much needed shut up call. Gul Bahar needs to understand that she is not a part of this family anymore & if she is living here, it is only because she is now going to get related to them through Shehryaar, so she needs to keep her mouth zipped & shouldn’t interfere in their personal matters. The things she said to herself about her beauty were cringe-worthy. If only Gul Bahar wasn’t so shallow to understand that a good face doesn’t earn you the love & respect as much as your good nature does but oh well!!!

I am glad that Gul Bahar got snubbed twice in this episode. First one was by Ghaalib who told her not to swoop in when he was taking a decision on Zarri’s matter. Then Gul Bahar got rebuked by Maalik when she uttered non-sense about Khizer by putting Mana’s future with him in the spotlight. I think these many shut-up calls are enough for any sane person to understand how she is not needed here but Gul Bahar takes dheetai to another level, so I am not surprised why she is still there.

I really don’t understand what Shehryaar wants. His ego got hurt by Khizer & he turned Khizer’s life upside down, therefore by now he should’ve had his closure, why he is still stuck on him is something that I can’t really comprehend. It is good to see that at least Mana doesn’t entertain those thoughts of Shehryaar & tells him to speak about something else. I think there will come a time when her limit will be pushed & she will give him a shut up call too. I actually thought it was Gul Bahar’s idea to demand the property from Saleha but the way Shehryaar showed excitement over it showed that he falls in the same category too & this was a planning done by both of them as well. I liked the fact that Mana spoke against it as she didn’t want anything from her parents. Mana also raised a valid question about where will her family live if they’ll give her everything to which Saleha told her about her plan B. I am glad that at least Mana has started showing some sensibility & isn’t too happy with the situation.

Mana is definitely having a hard time accepting the fact that her whole family has fallen apart & even though she might pretend not knowing about the root-cause, she does know to some extent. Yes, for now she is blaming Khizer & speaks against him because she still holds him responsible for everything but she also knows that things haven’t been the same ever since Shehryaar has turned against Khizer. Mana decided to speak to Khizer about how much he hurt her father, which definitely hurt Khizer even more & he decided to show up & seek forgiveness in a hope that Saleha will let him meet Ghaalib, which she didn’t allow. I think as much as Mana speaks against Khizer, deep down in her heart she still isn’t convinced that Khizer can cause harm to her family members like that. I somehow like how they have shown her confusion & I think she will be the one who will bring them all together, at least this is what I think.

I must say, I am not thrilled to see Laila’s growing interest in Khizer. She is just a tourist & if she is thinking to grab a spot in Khizer’s heart, then she really needs to get a life. No tourist goes bonkers over the localities like that, that is why I am not at all convinced with this track & its developments. The preview seemed good where Maalik will clearly speak to Zarri about how he feels & will tell her about his decision, I am looking forward to it the most. Also, seems like Laila will turn into a daasi & will do Khizer’s seva, which I ain’t looking forward to at all. Also, I must say, with the over-dosage of the conversations that take place in either rooms or cafes, it was refreshing to see Khizer & Maalik having a conversation in an open-air, amidst the nature, it was different & seemed pretty appeasing.
